Despite having gone through some terrible personal problems, such as the loss of documents, I spent a wonderful time at Mercure Paris Opéra Garnier Hôtel & Spa. The staff was so attentive, and helped me in every way they deemed possible.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It is within walking distance to all the big malls and also the train stations. We even walked to Champ Elysee and Sacre-Cour from the hotel! The room is decent...it is of an average size of a hotel in Europe. Just big enough for 2 people with 2 big luggages.

We have stayed at Mercure Opera Garnier almost every year since 2010. We became so close to the helpful staff. I have liked more Paris and France also. American breakfast buffet is always satisfying (pain au chocolate and croissant are very nice!). Thanks to the friendly staff. Wonderful hospitality.

The hotel was lovely, but the rooms were extremely small. I was really disappointed with the wifi. I could not even send 1 email due to the wifi speed. The gym was very minimalistic but the hotel was classy.

Seldom do I write a review (on anything), yet my recent experience at this hotel has prompted me to do so. In a nutshell, this was the single most dissatisfying and unpleasant experience that I have ever had with an Accor-group hotel. Where to start... 1. Reception on arrival - bored, and made me feel like I was something of a burden to have to deal with, as opposed to a customer who was paying 200€ to stay for one night; 2. WiFi - Would not work in the room I was in, and after mentioning this to the Reception team I was told that it could only be fixed in the morning, but that I was welcome to sit at the bar and use the WiFi there (how gracious); 3. The Bar - As a Silver member of Accor, I was presented with a coupon for a welcome drink that I happily used. What they don't tell you though, is that if you ask for a spiced tomato juice, is that you have to actually prepare the entire thing yourself. As well as this, not once was I asked if I would like to buy another drink during the 1.5 hours that I was at the bar, and all other patrons were given what appeared to be complimentary bar snacks - except me..? 4. Check out - I could not have envisaged that checking out of a hotel could be such an upsetting experience. I presented my key, and received a simple 'Merci' and that was it. I wasn't expecting a formal salute as I left, but something a bit more customer-focused would have been appreciated, especially as I was the only one leaving at that time. The only benefit that I gained from my one night staying at this hotel was that it was very convenient to get to the train station in the morning. Would I stay here again - you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

As per every time we visit the wonderful city of Paris for the last 3 years or so, we have chosen to stay at this magnificent Boutique Hotel located in the Opera Neighborhood. We very much enjoyed the location of this Hotel but also the impeccable service we receive as well as the very clean rooms & comfortable infrastructure. We are already looking forward for our next stay at this Hotel that we certainly recommend.

Typical small sized rooms for Paris, but nicely designed and comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Location is perfect for the Opera house area and great shopping at Galleries Laffayette. Hotel common rooms were nice and inviting. Only negative - pillows need replacing.

Great location. Very nice room (Privilege) which was quite small but this was not a problem as it had a super balcony with table and chairs, overlooking St Lazare (the room had excellent sound proofing!). The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. All the staff were very professional and helpful. Recommend booking a Privilege room.

Welcoming and pleasant staff, attentive to requests. Hotel conveniently located in a vibrant area close to the Opera, Galeries Lafayette, and other major stores. The Roissybus stop is in front of the Opera, operating direct trips to and from CDG Airport. The hotel is newly refurbished and the room was comfortable for a nights' stay. Breakfast is always a pleasant experience at Mercure hotels

We arrived late at the hotel around 10-11pm and were quite tired. Thankfully, the reception staff Abdoulaye was very warm, accommodating and helped us to check into our room smoothly. It was quite a relief and I must commend him for his excellent service, beyond what I've experienced in other Accor hotels. The hotel itself is 1 5-10min walk from Galerie Lafayette, Printemps and also the direct bus shuttle from CDG airport which costs 12 Euro. Our Classic room with twin bed is 13m2 and to be honest, is quite tight for 2 people. However, everything was new and very clean in the room which we loved. Overall, I will choose to come back to this hotel during my next trip to Paris but will most likely book the Privilege Room or Suite which is bigger.

The Team very hospitable and helpful, be it at Reception or at Breakfast time. Breakfast ; nice selection and good choice of food. Great Location, easy access and good shopping and restaurants in the vicinity. Room small, not very spacious, bathroom minimalist, amenities in room too basic. As a frequent user , very often disappointed with the room comfort.

As always, 90% great but not 100% sharp. The beautiful lobby and room design makes the hotel one of my favourites in the center of Paris, its location also helping. Comfortable beds, good breakfast buffer. Unfortunately, always some small issues here. This time: the pre-booked bottle of champagne was never delivered, the 2nd one ordered via the reception also failed to arrive with ultimately a hot one being delivered. Also, the laundry bag was returned un-serviced b/c of street strikes. The hotel manager did a good job of apologizing for both, at least. But will for sure come back. Our Suite Privilege was excellent.

This is a new stay in our favorite Hotel in Paris. Everything was very good as usually is.The staff people is very kind and helpful in everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. Location is no.1 as it's somehow calm despite being right in the centre of Paris where everything is happening!Check-in was easy, very polite staff, not too much attention, not too little...just perfect for a business trip. The room is small but having said that, was enough for myself and most importantly, it was clean and in good condition.

I am staying at this Hotel for the last 4 years or so. With its up and downs I am trying to be loyal to it because the area of its location is excellent for me as well as for anybody that want to be very well located in Paris. At one step from the Gare St. Lazare and also to the Commercial area at the Opera Neighborhood, everything makes it as a great choice to know and enjoy Paris in the best possible way.The Hotel was renew and after it is keeping a very good standard. The service is being improved from stay to stay and I can not have any complaint on it. They were very kind to provide me with a nice room and were very gentle at any time I requested some kind of service. I very much enjoyed this stay in Paris, as usually did, however, the hotel contributed this time to make my stay more pleasant. One small thing that needs to be improved....the wake up call.....I requested it for my first night in Paris and they forgot to do it.....This should not happen at all. Other than that, everything was better than even expected.

昨年に続いてでしたが、快適な滞在ができました。去年より広い部屋でした。ただ、ミネラルウォーターが初日だけのサービスだったのは気になりました。また、アコーホテルにはエレベーターから遠い部屋を希望と登録していますが、エレベーターの真ん前の部屋でした。昨年利用時のアンケート登録では I invite you, for your next stay, to book a Privilege Room, more spacious, endowed with bedding upscale Mercure and of various services like an iPhone / iPad dock station, a Nespresso machine, a free minibar as well, cosmetics, a bathrobe and slippers.と返答がありましたが、特段何もありませんでした。初めてランドリーサービスを利用しましたが、仕上がりには大満足です。シャルルドゴール空港からロワシーバスで利用できるので、パリに行くときには利用すると思います。

Metro and direct public bus to must go tourist destinations such as Musee and weekend market etc are within walking distance. Restuarant for tourists with various budget are available like fast food, pastries, seafood, steak house etc.

First to safety issue: The shower is the bath tub, but there is no safety bar to step in and out of the tub. In day one and two the room was not fixed by the time we returned.Specifically on day two when we returned after to 2 PM I went to complain and was told that it will be fixed in 10-15 minutes. There was kettle in the room but caps provided were inadequate paper caps. In the bath room plastic caps were provided. I understand that they are preferable to the glass but they could have been solid plastic. This is not the standard that I experienced in the past while staying in four star Accor chain hotels in the past.
