Excellent breakfast included in room. Tons of options. Several hot items could be ordered in addition to the elaborate buffet menu. Great service provided by Baran and Onur. Their head/steward Tanju was super-helpful and made restaurant reservations for us! Great experience. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. We stayed here after aesthetic surgery and there was even a pillow menu and option to request ice packs, as well as a variety of in-room entertainment options like Apple TV to keep us occupied whilst we couldn’t go out. The upgrade to a Gold room was well worth it for access to the lounge and butler service, who helped us pack post-surgery. Ali Oğuz (Concierge) and Seven Altay (Gold Lounge Manager) were absolutely amazing and their encyclopaedic knowledge and extensive list of local contacts helped us with everything from restaurants, hairdressers, local tailors and shops to wedding venue hire…and they had contacts in each of the places suggested that were able to help us also. They completely changed our trip for the better with their help and advice. Irem in the butler team was also very helpful as was Baran.

Wonderful Stay with Breathtaking Views over Istanbul

We spent a few days in Istanbul and stayed at Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, and overall we had a fantastic experience. The hotel offers absolutely incredible views over the city. Depending on your room and floor, you can look out over the European side, the Asian side, and even the Bosphorus. Since the hotel is a high-rise, the panoramic views are truly impressive — especially the light over the water and the sheer scale of Istanbul. The concierge team deserves special mention. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional — assisting with taxi arrangements, giving recommendations, and even communicating with people who didn’t speak English. For us, this level of support made a huge difference and really enhanced our stay. For security reasons, you pass through a detector at the entrance before entering the lobby and reception area, which felt reassuring and well organized. Check-in was smooth and efficient. We initially booked a standard double room with a water view, and later in the evening we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The suite was beautiful, and we truly appreciated this gesture. We had a wonderful time staying here as a couple. We ordered room service once; the food was okay, but not outstanding — especially considering the price. However, this was a minor point compared to the overall experience. We visited Istanbul in November, and although it was quite windy, this actually worked in our favor. The city was much less crowded than usual, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing and excursions without the typical crowds. We also dined at the hotel’s in-house sushi restaurant, which we can 100% recommend. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious, paired with an incredible view. We can imagine it being even more spectacular in summer when outdoor seating is available. The service there was excellent — the staff member who took care of us was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, we don’t remember his name, but we made sure to compliment him personally. The pool was closed during our stay, but given the cooler weather, this wasn’t an issue for us. Breakfast was another highlight: the service team was very proactive, offering juices and small items to try, making recommendations, and regularly checking in. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a great mix of Turkish specialties as well as familiar Western breakfast options like bread rolls, butter, and classic accompaniments. Overall, we had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend this hotel — especially for couples looking for comfort, great service, and unforgettable views of Istanbul.
