I was very satisfied overall with my stay at Fairmont Wuhan. The team was warm and professional, and the hotel delivered a high-quality experience. One note: I would have loved to have a Japanese-style toilet in the room. I was also disappointed not to be upgraded to a suite despite suites being available; at hotels of this caliber, I am typically upgraded to a suite as a top elite member. Other than that, I enjoyed the stay and appreciated the hospitality.

Our experience was an arrival subsequent to a Yangtse cruise - tired and weary - Jessica (manger) liaised with my wife and attended our (platinum Status) upgrade expediently and professionally - the room exceeded our expectations and the service and attention to detail were superb. Only disappointment was the executive lounge - yes, very well presented and appointed and the staff responded well and courteously to our requests - BUT the food was not of the standard nor daily diversity expected and service staff had to be asked to clear away plates over the two hour happy hour when there were very few guests - the lounge should "speak" to those who are there and the staff, and the catering, should be of a better standard. If it were not for the lounge attentiveness and catering diversity, we would have happily scored this hotel the perfest-10; because you deserve that - you are a super hotel with a super management being let down by staff (service and catering) attending your high-end loyal customers whose references and referrals matter.
