Excellent Hotel, the staff are all wonderful and extremely helpful, room service do an amazing job ensuring the rooms cleaned at a high standard, and making a request for anything is very quick, no waiting around, they expedite every request, the reception staff were extremely kind in allowing us late checkouts for 2 rooms free of charge. The location is very convenient for all purposes, you will truly love this hotel. Tips, get a Kaaba view room, or a junior sweet for the larger families, you will not regret it. Hope this helps.

I had a great experience at swissotel makkah. The hotel is tastefully decorated with modern conveniences, giving it a comfortable and stylish escape. The staff was really friendly and attentive, making sure that all of my needs were addressed with care. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with breathtaking views of the holy city. The eating selections were fantastic, with a wide selection of delectable items to pick from. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Makkah.

The hotel is very beautiful and elegant. They care about cleanliness in the smallest details. The guest is in the first place. The services are more than wonderful and the staff are very cooperative. The buffet is varied and delicious. I will visit again and again

The hotel is very nice and comfortable, and it also meets all the needs of the guests. Also, from the point of view of all employees, without exception. In terms of location, it is very strategic and easy to reach the Holy Haram. The Swissotel Makkah Hotel is a good choice.

We checked in and were given a room on the 2nd floor. As we entered the room, we could smell damp/mould mixed with cigarettes. My mum is asthmatic and despite me explaining this the staff were dismissive. I called to advise that the room needed to be changed and I was told to come down to reception. As I was given a new room, I thought it would be better however it was disgusting. I was told “all triple rooms are the same” and they were very keen to stop me from explaining the issues in the reception area. - The bathrooms were filthy and the shower stunk of urine. Every-time the shower was used the smell became stronger. - Shower stained and full of mould. - Bathroom door handle loose and could not be locked properly. - Curtains full of stains and dust. - Claimed to be a ‘city view’ room but looked directly in to rooms of another hotel. - Window ledges dirty and dusty. - Bed side table dirty. - Lamps full of dust and dirt. - Very noisy as the room was near the lift and the road outside was very loud all night. - Air con vents full of dust which left an awful smell. I addressed these problems with the staff on the first day to which they were very dismissive. I have stayed at this hotel twice before and this was my third occasion but it certainly will be the last. In general, the cleanliness was appalling and even asking the cleaners to clean was a great amount of hassle. The room got cleaned twice during our week stay despite cleaners always being on that floor. I have never stayed in such a dirty hotel. I asked to speak to a manager several times, however this didn’t happen: I certainly won’t be visiting again.
