The room hardware, though a little dated, is generally in good condition. The bathroom is divided into three sections but without doors between them, so it can’t really be used by more than one person at a time. There’s also no shower curtain, meaning water tends to splash out, although the area is clean and well maintained. One issue I found is with the lighting system—it turns on unexpectedly at night, which feels a bit eerie. For instance, when I left for the gym in the middle of the night, all the lights came on and woke up the family. The automation could definitely be toned down. Another inconvenience is the lack of power points. There aren’t any near the bed, and the USB ports are loose from frequent use, making charging devices difficult. Overall, it’s a good hotel with pleasant staff and comfortable rooms, but a few simple improvements could make the stay much better.

Excellent. Really enjoyed staying at the Fairmont. 100% returning. All the staff were soooo nice, but special mentions to the Concierge Team of whom Anya was particularly good. Always smiling, always finding time. As well, the Club (Golden?) Lounge was wonderful. One of the best lounges ever, particularly at breakfast. Quiet, relaxing, and although there was some background music, thankfully it was very very low. Well done. Again the Club Lounge staff were excellent. James, Maya, Lenny, Ham, and the especially lovely Ansel. A really lovely hotel. Highly highly recommended.

Last min decision by hubby to book this short staycation, loved the room, the lounge and the breakfast spread.. Thanks James and the service team for going the extra mile to make us feel at home.. Merry Xmas 🎄

We had an excellent family stay at Fairmont Singapore. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its prime location right in the heart of the city. With direct access to the MRT and shopping malls, getting around Singapore was extremely convenient, even while traveling with children. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it well suited for a family stay. The overall facilities and maintenance were of a very high standard. The service truly stood out, and special recognition goes to Meng Liang for his warm, professional, and attentive hospitality. His support made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We would highly recommend Fairmont Singapore to families looking for a comfortable and well-located city hotel.
