Amazing stuff and service plus delicious food and view on Makkah ❤️ they have combination of lib-anise and saudi Arabian food and plenty more of stuff like dessert and drinks love to come back again i recommend it 🤍 you must pay it a visit every one

The rooms were amazingly clean with all the essentials kept ready. Kudos to housekeeping team, Asif and Mahboob for providing a a great service and setting up the room. I definitely recommend this hotel and you better take the Fairmont Gold section.

As a fan of Fairmont hotels worldwide, I was extremely disappointed by Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower Hotel. It was far below the usual standard of Fairmont, particularly in terms of guest service. I booked one suite and two rooms. The suite was fine, but the rooms were nothing like the pictures. They were old, worn-out, and the design was completely different. Despite having stayed here before, the rooms I received were completely different, even though they were supposed to be of the same category. I requested a room change right away, and after persistent follow-up, they promised to have the rooms ready in 30 minutes. I left my rooms immediately. Two hours later, I was told the rooms were still being cleaned. By 11 PM, when I checked again, I was informed that only one room was ready. After expressing my frustration, especially with children needing to sleep, they finally gave me the second room. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. No apology, no follow-up from management, and no compensation. If you want to waste your time and leave frustrated, I would recommend staying here.

Average hotel that’s had better days

I checked in around 1700 and that’s when the problems began. 1. No guidance on how to even reach my room. I was left to simply walk aimlessly around the reception and floors. 2. Despite calling 3 times, my bags were delivered over an hour after I entered my room. Travelling with young children isn’t always easy so to continually chase wasn’t great. I called 3 times, after the first time laundry services were sent in what I can only imagine was a poor joke. Two more calls were needed to impress upon staff that I actually intended to use my luggage. 3. The TV didn’t work. 3 calls were made over the course of 2 hours seeking help, only for polite acknowledgements and saying someone would visit. On my third call a staff member said this was a wider issue and nit fixable. 4. Breakfast is distinctly average. Extra charges for coffee that isn’t an americano or black was surprising. There was no granola and a shortage of pastries. Again, bad luck, timing or lack of quality. The service at this hotel has been awful. This isn’t a hatchet job, but I struggle to understand how such a price tag be justified when customers are taken for granted. My stay in the Hilton Convention a few days earlier was far better.
