Fairmont Nile City was an absolute DREAM stay for my boyfriend and I. We were upgraded twice to a full Nile view room for our anniversary, and the exceptional team filled it with rose petals and an anniversary cake. The team are so kind and attentive anticipating your every need and the location is perfect for sightseeing and views of the Nile. The food is fabulous, we ate at both Gingko and Saigon, both were very good but Saigon is truly exceptional. We had the peking duck and green Thai curry, both of which were amazing. The room is absolutely beautiful, modern and clean and the bathrooms are luxurious. The team could not do enough for us, including late check out and assistance with luggage and information about Cairo. Special thanks to Rey and Franschiska from Saigon, Mohamed Basat from the front desk (the loveliest person we had the pleasure to meet during our stay in Egypt), and Ahmed from the front desk and Ahmed for help with our luggage. Thank you SO much. We are forever grateful and will be returning! You are definitely missing out if you don’t stay here in Cairo.

Best Hotel in Cairo - Excellent Room, Excellent Service

My wife and I celebrated our wedding at the Fairmont hotel in Dallas (excellent choice!), so we decided to try the Fairmont in Cairo during our honeymoon trip to Egypt. And we loved this hotel too! Definitely one of the highlights of the trip to Cairo. The hotel helped arrange a taxi/private car pickup at the airport (highly recommend! A guide actually meets you before the passport check point inside the airport, guides you through security, waits with you at baggage claim, and takes you directly to the private car), a private car to take us to the Grand Egyptian Museum and he helped take us on a car trip to see other highlights around town (highly recommend doing touristy stuff or a car trip around Cairo on a Friday because there’s significantly less traffic), and a private car to the airport after check out. The cost is about $110 USD for the airport pick ups and drop offs, which for a private car that waits for you, takes you to and from the airport, and makes you (and your wife) feel safe - totally worth it. There are cheaper options if you take/trust Uber. We liked the security and safety of the hotel’s arranged transportation. As for the hotel itself, it’s beautiful both inside and outside. There are multiple restaurants throughout the hotel (we enjoyed an authentic mix of 8 appetizers for $20 USD at the Egyptian restaurant on the “R” level and we enjoyed the cheeseburger and French fries on the lobby level). The highlight is the Fairmont Gold level. If you’re coming to Cairo, we definitely recommend paying/upgrading for Fairmont Gold because you get access to the Fairmont Gold lounge with excellent breakfast (we ate breakfast there all 3 days), afternoon tea (around 3-5pm- which was great to enjoy after we came back from the pyramids or museum), and drinks and light snacks. Shoutout to our personal butler Abadoub who kindly helped during check-in, check-out, and through-out our stay. Abadoub is excellent! Also, thank you to Mohamed, Adel, George, and everyone who works in the Fairmont Gold lounge. We loved the driver Obama who took us in the sightseeing journey around Cairo on Friday. And we appreciate Yasser and Christen at Concierge for helping arrange the drivers and airport pick ups/drop offs. We loved the Fairmont Nile City hotel- huge highlight. We’re so glad we stayed there during our honeymoon trip to Cairo! Thank you!
