We had a 2 night stay as I had business meetings, but it also happened to be my wife’s 50th Birthday. The Staff were so accommodating and looked after us fantastically well. We stayed in a River Balcony suite and had some amazing food and service in our room. Thank you for making the occasion very special.

I had specifically booked the River View Suite with Balcony as had planned to propose to my partner on the balcony itself. I was therefore very disappointed when I had been given an 'upgrade' to a river view suite without balcony. This may well have been an upgrade, however it was not what I had booked and wanted. The very nice gentleman Ryan who led us to our room from reception told me the suite with the balcony was being refurbished and was not available - if that was the case, why was it advertised on your website and why was I able to book it? Another disappointing event was our bags not being in our room upon check-in at 3pm. Particularly as we had left our bags at the hotel that morning before heading in to town. I then had to call reception over half an hour after checking into the room as there was still no sign of them. Ten minutes later a gentleman came up to help us move out of the room - miscommunication had clearly happened somewhere. Eventually we received our bags after around an hour of check-in. I had expected a smoother operation from a hotel as renowned as The Savoy.

Fabulous (surprise) trip. We’re treated extremely well by all staff, particularly restaurant staff. only disappointment was parts of the hotel being closed (probably due to COVID 19). Beautiful building and decoration throughout hotel was a treat.

One-night, post-tier two COVID honeymoon for first-time marrieds, in late 60s, both Londoners. Excellent suite, and much-enjoyed, pre-booked swim and relaxation in the fitness Friendly and welcoming reception. Breakfast was a little slow Overall, a magical experience.

Excellent attention by staff spoilt by lack of adherence to covid safety rules by guests who were not wearing masks and were not encouraged to wear them either by staff or clear notices. Registering app equipment was not in a prominent position and as I observed only used occasionally. In the Savoy Grill there were parties that I suspect were not from one household.

Your thoughts are important and will be shared with the senior management team. I would like to offer you and readers the following assurance of the stringent measures in place at The Savoy. The full details are available to read on The Savoy's website, however here is a brief overview. We follow closely the Government COVID guidelines. Among the many measure in place, I can advise that all staff and guests are required to wear masks, unless except or seated at a table to dine. Staff will prompt guests to replace their mask, but we are pleased to say that we have found it necessary to do so on very few occasions. Notices and the NHS QR code are strategically positioned throughout the hotel. Hand sanitisers are also readily available and, additionally, they are placed on the tables for guests to use should they need it. Staff are proactive in verbally offering guests the use of hand sanitisers andthe QR code. The Savoy also operates a strict cleanliness and hygiene programme and follows the ALLSAFE Covid hygiene and protection guidelines. It is vital that our guests feel secure and safe and we are happy to receive the positive feedback from our guests in this regard. The Savoy is the best location to stay in London and one of the best in the world. Outwith pandemic constraints when the hotel has all it's usual facilities and staff in operation it is the pinnacle hotel location.

From the moment that we pulled up at the Savoy hotel by taxi our experience for the next two nights to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday celebration was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel is lavish, high end and has been refurbished to an impeccably high standard. So clean, tidy and organised. Our deluxe king room was spacious and Art Deco styled. What a beautiful room & bathroom. The public areas are incredibly comfortable and have been designed with a unique quintessential British flair and style. The Savoy is warm, inviting and the staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. In fact throughout my extensive international travels and sometimes been fortunate to stay in the best hotels in town the staff that work at the Savoy are arguably The best of the best. From chatting to the head butler at reception, the head waiter at The Savoy Grill restaurant, receptionists, room service staff, bar staff etc each individual always showed passion and pride in their job, courteous, respectful, unpretentious, interested in listening to us as guests and delivering their words in excellent perfect English. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. You all helped make my partner’s 50th birthday 2 day celebration be truly memorable.

I treated my wife to a surprise 60th birthday celebration! We felt like ‘royals’ and it was an amazing experience! All the staff were very warm and Flavia was very helpful! Can’t express our joy at meeting the actual celebrity the head butler - had to take a picture with him especially after having watched an episode of the Savoy on the tv the night before! Highly recommended. Thanks and hope the pandemic goes away soon so life for everyone including the hotel will get back to some degree of normality.
