This is a Four Seasons, lovely, luxury hotel set on the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms so well-appointed. Our room was a good size and the bed extremely comfortable. There is plenty of choice for breakfast. The Asian restaurant downstairs is first class.

Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is superior for their service, food and accommodations! Their attention to detail from a customers point of view was exceptional and the hotel itself is a work of art in every aspect. This is definitely more than a five star hotel. A thousand stars is more like it!

Genuinely the best hotel in Hamburg. The Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten is locally referred to as the Four Seasons, as that is what Vier Jahreszeiten translates into. It is managed by Fairmont and has no link to the Four Seasons brand. The hotel is set on the Alster with stunning views and is an excellent hub in this wonderful city. Easy to walk most places and easy access to the U-Bahn. The building is grand, showing its history proudly. Staff at reception are welcoming and friendly. Check-in took a matter of minutes as the staff were most efficient. The rooms are stunning, some containing walk in wardrobes. Rooms contained a complimentary fruit basket and a nespresso machine. Bathrooms were large and contained both a bath and walk in shower. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and cannot fault any of it. Excellent quality. I have travelled to Hamburg on several occasions and this is easily the best Hamburg hotel I have stayed in.

Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg is our preferred hotel for a weekend stay in Hamburg. Service from arrival to departure is over the top. Everybody is so polite and helpfull. Rooms, restaurants, atmosphere is perfect to the minor details. The perfect spot for a romantic stay.

Felt home, well treated, very nice staff, excellent breakfast. Easy parking - just park in front of the hotel and the staff will take care of the parking. Location is amazing in front of the lake, and the area around is full of restaurants and cafes.
