Pleasant budget hotel.

Pleasant budget hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly much to our relief having read other reviews. Easy parking. Asked for a rear facing room as it is quieter and has nice views of the countryside. Breakfast basic but good. Pillows a little thin. I like that the toilet was separate from the shower room. Small desk which is handy.

We have stayed in a number of hotels in this chain and this is certainly one of the best. Rather small rooms as expected, of course, but spotlessly clean and recently reformed with toilet separate from the shower room as in other IBs. Friendly welcome, attractive breakfast area. Almost alongside the A20, so perfect as an overnight stop, but no traffic noise problems. Big bonus is the restaurant only 50m away, not a mediocre chain as is often the case, but a quality family-run business. With a room for less than £40 equivalent in July, and a great meal, this is now on our list for future trips to the south.

A clean, well located Ibis in a lovely part of France. Having travelled overnight from the UK, I was extremely tired on arrival and was pleased to discover that check in is open from noon. Like most budget hotels, the room is fairly basic but offers everything you need aside from tea/coffee making facilities (a vending machine is available in the lobby). The bed is reasonably comfy although you only get one pillow each so some guests may struggle to get properly comfy. The mattress is also on the “firm” side. The location is adjacent to the motorway so those rooms at the front may experience some traffic noise (I was at the rear of the building). However, the windows are double glazed so it’s possible this isn’t an issue. Car parking is good and seemingly secure. The staff are helpful and polite. Breakfast is an unlimited continental offering - fresh and tasty with great coffee. For what it costs, Ibis Budget are great!

We opted for IBIS budget as we were doing an overnight stopover. I realise it's budget but I wish IBIS would put a kettle in the room. Room faced the rear of the hotel with a nice view and the room was basic but adequate. The staff are friendly and breakfast was good. Plenty of parking.

My partner and I stayed at Ibis Budget Hotel, North Limoges on Sat 13/8. I stayed there in 2017 and was impressed with the place and so chose it for our return journey from near Carcassonne. A fraught journey on the motorway meant we were glad to have made the booking. The room given to us was clean, nicely decorated, and the air conditioning was working well in the heat of the day. We got a good night’s sleep and ate a very good breakfast in the morning. The hotel is situated in a semi rural area, and there is a good park and lake near by that we would have explored had we arrived earlier in the day. The restaurant next door to the hotel ‘Dejeuner Sur L’Herbe’ is excellent and does great food and the House Red sold by the pichet is brilliant for the price!
