Hotel is basic. Rooms small but clean throughout. Powerful shower. Combined body / hair wash provided. Towels provided. No hairdryer. Close transport links into the centre. Super easy to get about. Travel pass for the tram, train, metro and bus purchased for £36 covering 3 days. Not much to do around the hotel but fine for a base. Would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere further out, cheap but clean to stay with easy links to the centre.

For a basic hotel, not bad.Breakfast was fair. However the bathroom does not have a shelf to place toiletries on and there is no toilet brush. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. They forgot to make up our bed last evening and empty our waste basket bin.As there is no phone in the room it was too late to go to reception and complain. Duly in the morning I did explain on check out where a free coffee was offered. Quite expensive over all.

Good accommodation, small room but tidy. Towels were changed everyday. Breakfast very tasty, but there were not hot meals e.g. sausage, scrambled eggs.

Rooms are very smalls, any chair, table, neither refrigerator, because it is a budget hotel, but very clean and has New furniture. We traveled with our car, there are many parking places around hotel, which is free from 18:00 to 9:00 clock next day. Eventually hotel has also parking, 12,5$ / night. There are 2 charger for electric car, some very complex to use, when car has non-dutch number. Breakfast was very reasonable, fresh. Highly recommend. You can borrow a hair dryer from the reception for a twenty euro deposit, which will be returned later.

Theft in room. Hotel not interested.

We experienced a theft of cash from our hotel room. There was no safe in room. Interestingly we also found a random key left in our room. We logged a full police report at Amstelveen police station and also let reception know who showed no concern, gave no help and generally were not interested. No management were available to see us. An email to hotel management was not responded to without having to chase. We asked for an investigation to take place including looking at CCTV to see who had gone in to our room. Response was short and general saying that they had no evidence. Despite logging a full police report, the hotel response in essence called us liars. In todays world, these things may happen and lessons learnt on our part, but you can tell a lot by a hotel chain and management by the way they choose to show concern and how they deal with things. Be warned.
