Bad experience never going to stay there again

Bad pasta carbonara way too salty. Ordered a salad payed for both and two beers 43 or 53 €. They offered me a free complimentary drink and when I went to get it the day after the bartender was very rude. And said that I didn’t pay for the carbonara even though I did.

Great hotel, 15/20 min walk to centre. Clean, great food & lovely staff. Small bedrooms, comfy beds, but ultra funky public area

Really funky hotel. On arriving in the reception/ bar area it felt like we were in what id imagine to be if you were working with Google! Very chilled out, lush furnishings and a great atmosphere with lots of lovely huge sofas, tables, chairs, table football and table tennis. The main public toilets are clean and super modern. Only a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of Ghent. Staff are great, Really helpful, friendly and speaks great English! The rooms I'd say were ideal for a solo traveler, we are a couple so OK for 1 night. It is a budget hotel after all. Very clean. Bed comfy and smart TVs. It seems that most of their funding has gone to the main public areas of the hotel which, maybe because it's open to those not staying here. Food is great, good selection. We had lunch here and breakfast, and the breakfast was gorgeous, lots of choice from croissants to eggs and luscious bacon. Highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the tiny rooms for a short stay.

Room was as required and as expected. Was on the small side however we were only in it for one night so didn't require the space on our trip . Bathroom appeared newly refurbished and to modern standard. The shower and toilet facilities were great. This was the perfect hotel for 1 night in Ghent. They also offered parking at €18 per night which served us well. The bathroom walls could do with a wash down however, the shower, toilet and floors etc all appeared in clean condition. We were able to use the self check in machine for both in and out therefore did not have to speak to any staff for our stay. This was great for quickness however loose the friendliness of the visit. Reception desk was always busy.

Cool hotel with very responsive staff. We had to look for a hotel at night because of bedbugs in another hotel and Ibis accepted us right away! Nice and responsive staff, the girl with dreadlocks at the reception is just super, helped to quickly and efficiently settle everything. The administrator in the restaurant is excellent Very attentive and understanding. The rooms are excellent, tomorrow is not very diverse. The hotel is suitable for people with disabilities.

Great place to stay, very close to the center. Normally we are not into chain hotels but this one is quiet charming, it seems its pretty new. You can rent bikes and ride around the river just in front. A safe neighborhood, you can park for free just opposite the street, very helpful staff and fun for kids.
