Our stay at Hotel Santa Teresa Rio was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by a warm, attentive and professional team, always ready to help and make us feel at home. The restaurant truly deserves special mention. The quality of the gastronomy is outstanding, with beautifully presented dishes, excellent flavors and great attention to detail. Every meal felt like a refined yet relaxed experience, perfectly in tune with the atmosphere of the hotel. The spa was another highlight of our stay. I personally enjoyed the hot stone massage, which was deeply relaxing and incredibly well executed — a true moment of disconnection and well-being. An absolute must. We also loved spending time at the bar and in the garden. The setting is stunning, peaceful and lush, making you forget that you are right in the center of Rio. It really feels like a hidden sanctuary, perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. Overall, Hotel Santa Teresa is a unique place that combines elegance, comfort and authenticity. A true oasis of calm in the middle of the city, and without a doubt a place not to be missed. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Santa Teresa in June and left completely enchanted. The whole place feels like a slice of nature-fantasy inside Rio — every corner has a special atmosphere. The Bar dos Descasados is perfect for a drink, always lively, always with something happening. The spa… I had an amazing massage there. From the pool bar, the view is unbelievable: you can see the whole city, from Maracanã to Central do Brasil, even the ferris wheel — and it’s the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen. The room I stayed in was exactly my style: spacious, elegant, with that charming old-Rio sophistication. The breakfast is pure joy, delicious and generous. And dinner at Terése restaurant … waw!!! one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had. A place that truly stays with you.”

My experience at the hotel is always wonderful: I’m welcomed with smiles, I feel light, happy, and completely at ease.

My experience at Santa Teresa MGallery was excellent. The hotel has a unique atmosphere — charming, peaceful, and very welcoming. The thoughtful décor and harmonious spaces create an immediate sense of well-being. The noise level is very low, which guarantees real rest. The service is outstanding: the staff is attentive, kind, and always ready to help with professionalism and warmth. The amenities are great, with comfortable common areas, a beautiful pool, a bar, and perfect spaces to relax. The restaurant also deserves praise — delicious dishes, beautifully presented, in a very pleasant setting. Highly recommended. A truly special experience.

Fantastic meal at the Tereze restaurant. We were a mixed group of nationalities and all enjoyed the variety of dishes (French techniques/Brazilian ingredients), including our two vegetarians. Not cheap but certainly great value for money. Would recommend for special occasions/something different.
