I made a reservation for my wedding 1 for 1 Saturday indulgent buffet lunch at Raccines on 7th December 2024 . On that morning , my wife felt seriously ill and could not make it for the occasion. We tried to rebook with April from Raccines and wrote several emails to request for a subsequent date 14th/ 21th December. It would be appropriate for a replied email and acknowledge my request.

Friendly and efficient service from Rey and Mark who took care of our table. Rey even took the initiative to ask if we are celebrating some special event, and gave us complimentary dessert to make it—all very well presented. He was very easy going when we asked to break up our laksa in sharing bowls too. Makes our event more enjoyable and memorable too.

Comfortable bed & pillows Clean & quite Very helpful Concierge House keeping are up to the standard thanks to Hong Liang Good selections for the breakfast MRT Station just off the hotel 7-Eleven and a 24h supermarket are close by Location is great close to China Town

We had an incredible stay at Sofitel Singapore! The staff were absolutely wonderful—nothing was too much trouble for them. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, with beautifully spacious rooms and elegant guest areas that made our stay so comfortable. The pool was fabulous, offering a serene spot to relax, and the breakfast selection was fantastic with so many delicious options to choose from. Truly, everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't find a single fault. Highly recommended!

Updated review from my 3rd stay in 6 months. Pros - 1) Booked a Luxury room and got upgraded to a Premium room (same room but higher floor with great views). Room was sizable, clean and comfortable and could easily accomodate an additional rollaway bed (no extra charge but subject to availability). 2) Service was friendly and polite throughout. 3) Located just above the MRT (Tanjong Pagar) and close to many restaurants/cafes in the Duxton/Amoy area. 4) Although the buffet breakfast variety at Racines has dimished slightly, quality was still decent. 5) Complimentary parking up to 24hrs. 6) Grateful for the late checkout that was provided upon request. 7) Not a pro but family loves the mascot, Beau the Bee, which is available for purchase from the concierge@ $29 for the original and $39 for the Christmas edition (2 variants). Cons - 1) Complimentary minibar is no longer a benefit - our fridge was empty during our stay. 2) Kids amenity kit wasn't provided this stay. All in all still a good stay even though there is evidence of minor cost cutting.
