Great location, but…

Great location…. But I probably wouldn’t stay here again. We were a family of four and got two queen sized rooms, so that a parent could share with each of child. The rooms were small, but we’d expected that. They were clean, and we were given rooms across the hall from each other which was convenient. However, there was so little privacy. The toilets are essentially open to the room: while there is a glass door, it doesn’t go all the way to ceiling. This was a deal breaker for me… There was also no soundproofing between the rooms: my husband and daughter were kept awake by snoring in the next door room, while my son and I had really loud fans/air conditioning units right underneath our rooms and could hear next door’s tv. The price was good and the kids enjoyed the pool. However, we’d rather pay a bit more and enjoy the hotel next time

We had the pleasure of staying at Mercure Bugis for 5 nights. The location is great! Within a stone-throw of everything you need and with so much food choices just a few meters away. We were upgraded for the duration of entire stay. The loft had an unusual design, I guess to make the most of the space but isn’t ideal for older guests. The best part of it is the bar and the bartender! They had a promo during our stay and Ryan, the friendliest bartender I have ever met, was just amazing! He made sure that all our needs were met. Such a memorable guy, to be honest. The beer is pricier compared to those outside, but the service from Ryan was impeccable and made it worth its price.

Family vacation

Our original plan is to stay 2 nights in this hotel but my daughter enjoyed the loft room so we decided to extend our stay. The room is small but the hotel location is very good and the staff are nice. Specially Angela who helps my wife and daughter to bring down our luggage and somehow we left some items in the room and she assist us to get it back. Might comeback soon and definitely will recommend this hotel. 👍🏻
