Such a lovely place to stay. Exceptional Service with our late check in. Just not happy about not being able to use my debit card, so had to use my Credit Card and got charged a Credit Card Surcharge. Thank You.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The whole place smelled of mould and/or cigarette smoke, overlaid by air freshener. There were wet towels and buckets in hallways catching water from leaking ceilings. The room was extremely cold. The bed was extremely hard. The two chairs in the room were both wobbly and broken. The wall light was a bare bub with a broken shade. There was a burnt iron on top of the wardrobe. The bathroom was very cramped. The blankets were torn. The walls and skirting boards were dirty.

Historical building so did not mind the mix-match of styles & occasional creaky floorboard. All the normal facilities. Room was clean, spacious and the bathroom modern. Garden with morning birds for a nice start to the day. Parking easy.

What an interesting/weird hotel located on outskirts of Maitland. Stepping back into the 1980s decor wise, very eclectic and miss mash of Indian, Japanese, Australian and Asian nik naks and assorted furniture. Manager/owner is a very quiet gentleman, polite but not very chatty. Public spaces are crowded with mirrors, pottery and other things. Not very clean. Rooms large, spa room split level, bathroom fairly new, loo paper holder broken, spa bath did not work, but ok as a bath, shower great pressure and hot water. Beds are ok, the room safe does not work as well. Breakfast is very basic compared to any other Accor properties, fresh and generous hot meals served. No fresh coffee available. Not a great spot for those whom like modern and super clean Accor properties. NOT UP TO MERCURE STANDARDS

Decor shocking. Gross decorating. Could be such a beautiful place being a prior convent. Beautiful building but disgusting decorating. Bathroom floor gets very wet & very slippery. Was billed then charged more later. Room wasn’t serviced, until we Requested. Buffet breakfast is NOT buffet. Was terrible breakfast. Holes in quilt cover. Spare blanket gross. Pillows terrible. Depressing looking place. The place could be so amazing. Seriously send someone out to check the decor. Get a chef. One band show.
