A beautiful hotel with 5 star service and amenities. Make sure you treat yourself to one of the luxury rooms as it oozes luxury. Lovely pool and sauna to relax in. The restaurant is a must visit and one of the best in Adelaide with a great buffet breakfast

The overall experience was good, essentially due to the services of Mr Razoul who is a very helpful and very professional guest relation at front desk. He was really helping to find our tours and to accommodate our requests. He made our journey really great. The room is really nice too. However our experience at the club millesime was somehow less impressive. We were being offered food which never came, the ladies there were somehow professional but one of them, a blond lady, was seriously lacking of smile and another one with curly hair was running nervously with huge stress. There were another lady looking maybe Indian, who was really professional and efficient without running all over the places. She provided a good service, she is the one who finally served our drinks and food. The breakfast was so so. Our tea was forgotten 3 times despite staff coming 2 times to ask and being answered about our request, we were waiting for some tea which was obviously forgotten. Luckily people at front desk were more than professional.

No sleep!

This is an important tip, do not ever stay here on a Friday or Saturday night! Wow the music coming from the nightclub downstairs all night is absurd lol I’m older now and my clubbing days are over, looks a lot of fun down there from level 18 but it’s impossible to sleep in the Sofitel. No real fix for the hotel either which is a shame as it’s a decent hotel.

Spectacular building with luxury design and beautiful rooms. Customer service of high standard at all points of contact. In life’s residences I’ve always enjoyed north facing windows - great sunlight. Room 1312 a wow on entry (as photo). Fantastic. Attempted visit to use pool but found afternoon aqua riot by young children. Retreated back to exquisite room comfort. Unfortunately unaware that facing north also was an all-nighter nightclub. “Cherry” believed as culprit a half-block away on Hindley Street. Friday night bearable but (wind change?) Saturday night we hardly slept a wink. Thumping bass beat tortured night through … till stopped at almighty 6 am. Now read prior TA reviews saying request higher floors due to party noise. I would probably additionally advise don’t face north toward Hindley. Sad to say we won’t return. Any future CBD accommodation will be given better due diligence. At home feeling more contented over quiet times in suburban living.

The rooms were exquisite! A soft and comfy bed! The location was quite good. We had very little early yours and the staff was gracious enough to pack us a box breakfast to take with us.. we had paid for breakfast, but were unable to actually use their dining facilities. I would say everything was excellent except for the fact that there was a disco across the street that played loud music until 5 n the morning. We were on the 21st floor and it shook our room and made it hard to sleep. This is no fault of the hotel, but our room was close to $400 a night and for that price I expect better. Even though I loved the rooms, I probably would not stay again at this location.

Thank you very much for your feedback, Kelly, we have been actively working with the Adelaide City council to resolve the issue as a matter of priority. We are already seeing improvement and hope we can welcome you again in the not too distant future.
