Had the pleasure to stay here as part of a Journey Beyond tour, and could not fault it. My room was spacious, clean and quite. The bathroom was exactly the same and - unlikely lot of hotel bathrooms - very well lit. The on-site restaurant and bar were similarly excellent, and I can give the breakfasts and dinners my 100% seal of approval. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, in place 24 hours a day if you needed anything. The hotel itself is close to transport (buses at the door, trams halfway across North Terrace, and railway station opposite) and within walking distance of many of Adelaide's better inner city attractions if that's your preferred mode of transport. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Was lucky enough to spend a couple of nights here in a suite to celebrate a special birthday. The staff could not have done more to make it a wonderful stay. Bar meals are inventive and great value and the breakfast is fabulous. Position is perfect for theatre and events galleries etc. Recommend it to everyone

we moved there after staying in the Peppers Waymouth and what a difference. The location is excellent, we had great room (junior suit), inviting, specious and very well equipped. The staff are helpful, very nice and polite and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommended

I have just returned from having a light lunch with a friend in the bar area of the hotel. Having been there a number of times previously and being happy with the offerings, I was disappointed today when the food was not up to the standard that I had experienced on earlier visits. We had a focaccia sandwich. The choice was very limited. The bread was exceedingly dry - too dry to eat. We like this hotel and the ambience of the bar area. It is comfortable and quiet enabling one to have a conversation without needing to shout. However, after today I feel reluctant to return.

Definitely wasn’t the best place I’ve stayed in Adelaide sadly

Spent five nights here. Room is comfortable and quiet and the pool is good. PowerPoints close to bed and it’s a good mattress. Cleaning is pretty minimal and often very late in the afternoon. The wifi is terrible. We could not open most attachments or read an article online. I also had an unfortunate experience walking into the hotel. A man was standing in the doorway and he threw a lit cigarette at me. I was able to duck but it was disconcerting. The staff at the hotel were not interested and said there wasn’t anything they could do. While it wasn’t their fault I’m an older woman and it certainly made me feel unsafe. Overall I’ve had better stays in Adelaide. We will go elsewhere in the future.
