First time in Barcelona. I gave it 1 star less as i was not informed on checking in that the aircon is not working. The night staff on duty on the 19/6/24 (a pity i didn't get his name), was very helpful and offered a room swap for me given the room was boiling hot with a aircon that's not working or alternatively a mobile aircon and i settled for the latter and he filled it with water and ice and took it to my room. Same as Jose on the 20/6/24 night shift and Joan 20 & 21 day shift, were all pleasant and provided excellent customer service with a smile. Continental breakfast as ok to get the day started, nothing to write home about. Other than that, it was a lovely and clean small room with a comfy bed and a safe but no mini bar. Walking into the hotel, there's no ramp though if you got big luggage, baby stroller or knee challenges but there is a lift to the rooms. There's luggage store room, which was very handy. I was catching the evening train to Madrid and was able to leave the luggage all day until my departure time. Very handy location with heaps of restaurants, cafes, bars, convenient store, buses stop outside the hotel and metro to the right across the road less than a minute walk or to the left another metro line 8 minutes down the road and the Casa Bastllo just a walking distance. I had taken the metro from the airport on arrival. On departure, i took the metro to Barcelona Sants to catch the train to Madrid. Highly recommended hotel and wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Excellent value for the money. Room is dorm like, but honestly has everything you need and the shower was good! Even better the AC worked fabulous! Rooms were quiet. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast that is included was very adequate typical hotel breakfast, but more fresh fruit than some, and breakfast staff was very friendly. We attended several nighttime events at the nearby Guadi houses, and it was an easy and safe walk back to the hotel.

The IBIS Styles was the perfect base for my stay in Barcelona. The location was brilliant and I enjoyed exploring the lovely surrounding streets. It was within easy walking distance to popular landmarks too. It was clean, safe, quiet and all of the staff were so friendly. The buffet breakfast was delicious too. Ines was really helpful with restaurant recommendations. Bar Joan next door was great for a relaxing drink in the afternoon sun. I will definitely return on my next visit to Barcelona.

Stayed here for three nights on account of being an Accor member. The hotel prices were steep during this week hence got this. To our surprise the rooms were not small but pretty practical and I was happy with them. It had a safe a clean bathroom and comfy bed. Enough space for us to accommodate a few bags and lay them out. It was a new hotel so hardly any wear or tear in the rooms. What a pleasant surprise. Location spot on and all walkable. Pedro the manager was brilliant and smiling and ever so helpful in terms of recommending us spots to go out for dinner. Very safe neighbourhood and quite many bars and tapas places to eat within walking distance if few minutes some even seconds. Taxis available aplenty in barcelona at very convinient prices. Just waive your hand and they stop. Brilliant. If I had one complaint I would say it was the breakfast. Extremely average and poor selection. It was as tasteless and boring as it could get. Even the coffee was horrible. We paid for breakfast but I’d suggest skip it and just get something outside. The rooms are great and so are the staff. Will of course stay here without any hesitation.
