Hotel is big and pretty busy with lots of families. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Good location to green line for on and off bus.Plenty of restaurants nearby but touristy. The downsides- Unusual to have to step into a bath for a shower. Water easily sprayed over the top of screen and created a pool The gym is very small over the road for 9 euro is a better option. With regard to the 19th floor. The pool is too small for 200 room hotel and the outdoor area was like sauna when warm. No ventilation or fans. One toilet to share. Bar staff not large enough. Whoever designed wasn't thinking. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but noticed pretty long queues to get in each morning.

Regarding our location, it is indeed very easy to hop on the touristic bus, and the green line is one the best! We always recommend our guests to experience this unique bus tour. We hope you discovered plenty of the city best corners. The service towards our guests is our top priority. The staff is here to offer the best quality service possible. However, we want to apologize for the few inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Regarding the bathroom, half of our rooms have a bath and the other half have a shower. Usually, the bath is really appreciated by our clients. We always recommend to let us a comment during the booking for your preference. For the water incident, we take fully note of it and we will find a solution as soon as possible. Regarding the gym, we are aware that the space is indeed limited. However, it was important for us to still offer this service for our guests by equipping the space with all the essential machines (Different bikes, Strength equipment, Free weights, Fitness equipment, Weight machine, Cardiovascular equipment). Unfortunately, the architecture of our rooftop does not allow us to have a more important pool area. During summer, and especially in Barcelona, the temperature can rise very quickly but for ecological reasons, we do not put ventilation outside of the building. That is why we have installed umbrellas and large canopies all over the rooftop. Thank you for the feedback regarding the bar workforce. We take into consideration your comment because our service has to reach our 4 stars standards. The breakfast queue you observed are something we are addressing to streamline the process and reduce waiting times for guests who eat breakfast at our hotel. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with our booking, but they managed to fix the problem and also gave us a beautiful suite for the trouble. We were happy with our stay! The pool area was wonderful and great for the children and the Metro was nearby so it was easy and efficient to use this to get to the city center in no time. We can definitely recommend this hotel for families!

It is my fourth time in this hotel. from novotel Barcelona city, since I am a member of the accor chain and a lifelong customer of their other company ennismore and the truth is that I feel very dissatisfied; of the service provided today in the hotel restaurant by its manager Roger, very slow service, he spoke badly to his colleagues and also his lack of hygiene, he had dirty work clothes and he spoke very badly to the clients, many clients left without dinner in the morning lack of empathy from this manager the only good thing was the terrace that makes a good White lady and manhattan; then I will not return to this hotel again, I will stay better in Hoxton, very bad and very unfriendly service, and I will never return again; I wanted to send my complaint to the management at this hotel but the director was not there.
