Dear Mandy K, Thank you for sharing your experience at Mercure Bridgwater Hotel. We sincerely apologise for the inconveniences you faced during your stay. It was disappointing to learn that the maintenance issues in your Privilege room and that it did not meet the expectations and the standards we strive to uphold for our guests. Your feedback regarding the blocked sink, shower difficulties, and room temperature is noted, and we understand how these factors affected your overall comfort. It’s unfortunate that these concerns were not mentioned during your stay, as was highlighted during check-out, we would have gladly moved you to a different room immediately to ensure a more comfortable experience. Maintenance have fixed the issues mentioned however we were unable to replicate the problem with the sink or rain shower during our checks, so will continue to monitor this for any potential concerns. We regret that the dining experience did not align with your expectations, particularly regarding the restricted menu and the quality of certain dishes and will feed this back to the MPW and Secret Escapes teams to be considered next time the promotion and menu are revised. We appreciate your comments about the breakfast and the ice cream. Sorry if you were kept waiting for a minute or two when checking out, Lilac was working alone so popped to get a hot drink and was asked a question regarding another guest which delayed her return to the desk a little.
