The restaurant staff and the foods were great Everyone was so nice and friendly Great hotel Special gratitude for Ela,Suzan,Tuana. They were the nicest people possible, the rooms are so comfy and it feels like home. I really recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good one. It's close to taqsim too .

I enjoyed the breakfast of the hotel and the most well-behaved staff in my opinion was Ms. Ellie, and it was the most delicious breakfast that I ate and I am very happy that I stayed in this hotel and I am grateful to everyone who made this comfort with us from the very beginning. They do and thank you to all the staff

AWFUL! AVOID! dirty and not kept up to date, the cleanliness of the hotel rooms was not at 2 star level never mind 4 or 5 as they claim, the air conditioning not working in room, esp when the sun hits the windows. The room preference booked with options was not available and different facing a brick wall, breakfast - well we forgot to make the selection at booking but the cost were triple what was advertised when you take the option at hotel. $25 for a breakfast per person!!! Sink in room like was blocked, needed unblocking, alao the housekeeping always forgot to leave towels or replenish toilet roll, sometime not cleaning and had to request a clean. Worst of all when it rained the rainwater flooded into the room, and there was no option to change again

My recent 8-night stay at The Elysium was a profound disappointment, too far from the 5-star experience one would expect. Noting that for the first time in my life in Istanbul i decide to choose a 5-star Hotel, since i invited my parents and sister and her daughter who came from Lebanon to Istanbul while my husband ,my son and i came from France(more than 20 times i always used to be in a 3-star hotel).The service was very bad; I frequently had to request basic amenities like towels and water and even cleaning the room, etc, often having to call multiple times at every time they say ok then am obliged to visit the reception in person since i dont get any of the service i asked for. Imagine as a family with babies we get out all day in Istanbul and we come around 11 pm every day for 8 nights with issues like these and my baby crying to get shower and sleep sadly this happens and it takes around an hour to be solved. Even then, the response time was excessively slow. Noting also that the night we arrived we demanded for a baby crib after my baby slept i wanted to put him in the crib we noticed that it is broken sure my baby woke up crying and sure we waited quite an hour for this issue to be solved.The room cleanliness was subpar, with consistently dirty floors. Several times we get back to the room we found it cleaned and arranged but the floor is dirty. As the 7th night we got back home all dirty towels on the floor biscuits on the floor means room os not cleaned and just the cups in the kitchinette were changed. Noting also that our first night was a hell i paid for a duplex best room in a 5-star hotel the room with the lighting in it as if we are in a disco or night club, no towels, baby crib broken, water dropping from the sink which made my son slip,etc.. we asked to refund after the bad way receptionists were dealing with us i preferred changing hotel but the hotel did not accept to refund the changed our room and promissed to provide us with better service. But what!!?? 8 nights same issues same things facing with the bad equipe who need  training and teaching a lot what customer service means and to be teached how client is important especially tourists who is spending his money in their country. My sister and parents who were sharing same room encountered unacceptably dirty towels that were improperly deemed clean. The baby crib provided was broken ordered more than twice pillow and blabket for the babies but took an unreasonably long time to replace. When I asked compensation or even a small gesture like a spa day or tour, the hotel refused to accommodate my request after 5 nights with every day stress and problems that were not be solved, imagine i will say just one issue 8 nights every day no towels at room and call several times and then go down to ask by myself for towels. So i insisted for gesture  after all problems sure they refused but they have put a plate of fruits and biscuits thinking that i will shut up and say i forgive, noticing that fruits were put but room was cleaned badly, floor dirty and sure with no towels. I insisted that i will make a problem if they dont offer me at least something covering what theh did in this 5-star hotel they offered a taxi two way for one day for me and husband and baby. Additionally, the hotel's location is inconvenient, requiring a strenuous climb with mike stones in the way to hotel with stroller and baby u can imagine to reach Taksim Square.. We paid a lot for taxis knowing that maxx 10 minutes walking from hotel to taksim square but obliged for our two babies's comfort(who are 1 year and 6 Months old). The only positive note concerning the breakfast staff, particularly Agus , Ali and Chefe Suzane, who were friendly , always smiling and accommodating. Also one in house keeping staff of the night shift an Asian guy with curly hair i forgot his name, Rameesh maybe, he was really friendly. However, their excellent service could not compensate for the numerous issues we faced.Overall, The Elysium failed to deliver on its promised 5-star standards. This hotel did not provide the relaxing vacation we hoped for and demonstrated a troubling lack of customer care. Very very bad receptionists with lack of experience they put for dealing with tourists who are coming from everywhere in the world to spend their vacation in a touristic country as Istanbul. Sure will not be returning and cannot recommend it to others. I can give a 1-star rate for the hotel if i want to mentioned the rating for the four staff that i mentioned above. Who i will give thede four staff a 5-Star + plus. But if i want to rate this hotel and all other staff especially their receptionist i will say its a 0-STAR HOTEL. I will share with u few pics for this 5-Star to see the changed room how was it noting that we have a baby toddler sharing the room with us.

Yagmur and Selma were amazing at the hotel! They catered to our needs and made sure that we were taken care of and welcomed with warming smiles! I will definitely be booking at this hotel again! Thank you so much Elysium Taksim!!! If you’re thinking about booking here, DO IT!! You will not regret your experience!
