Basic but in a great area

First the bad. Our room was tiny, the carpet was worn and stained, we were on the sixth floor, where the pigeons sang out early in the morning and an external fire escape was not evident. And it was pretty expensive for what it was - €150 per night for a double room. Now the good. The staff were great, really great. They accommodated all our requests and there was a happy energy about them. Breakfast was good, sleeping comfortable, and the location is an up-and-coming, interesting area close to the canals, with good restaurants and a buzzing nightlife. I would stay here again, despite the downers.

Quite small room, no air conditioner in summer

We visited Paris and stayed in this hotel in peak summer, August 2022. The room we had was quite cramped up and had no air conditioner. It was sweltering hot and the hotel provided just a small fan that wasn't enough. Moreover, our room was just above the street at the back of the hotel, so the garbage collection and cleaners gathered and shouted since early in the morning. Breakfast was usual Ibis, nothing special, but it was in the basement and quite hot again. One lady from the staff helped us a lot and was way more cordial than the others. The location is not bad, close to the metro and has restaurants around.

Twin room was small, but big enough for two and had very good beds. Nice breakfast, even if some items were not available every morning. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. Practical location close to Crimee subway station. Also bus 54 takes you to Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur almost from the front of the hotel, but it's very slow outside the rush hours as well. Decent price in Paris standards. All the voices and noises from the corridor could be heard in the room as there was a big gap between the door and its frame. Also the door locks were very loud. Housekeeping included just emptying the trash bin and changing towels, not even making the bed. Wifi a bit unstable.

Stayed in this hotel with family in two separate rooms in April Easter holiday. Everything in both room were all right and clean. However, there was a kind of "not pleasant" smell lingered inside both room. The location is good and feel safe on a straight street and no hidden corner after taking metro. May use this hotel again and I hope the mangement of this hotel can do something about the smell.

Stopped here for a couple of nights. First impressions were not good - I did not get a very warm welcome and my passport, TousCovid, Credit Card etc were checked in a borderline rude manner. However the room was fine. It was a little on the small side, but I was on my own so this was not an issue. It was quiet at night in the room so I slept fine. The room was very clean. The "hotel bar" was pretty much just a fridge in the reception. A free breakfast was served in the morning. The woman in charge of breakfast was much more friendly than the reception staff. There is a branch of Aldi over the road, and a couple of other places you can eat nearby. Good public transport links. Gare Du Nord is not far away. The hotel was decorated with Rosa Parkes themed decor which was good. I think I would stay here again, my main issue was with the attitude of reception staff.
