iron was broken upon check’in & waited about half & hour for the replacement. collecteral was found on side sofa writing table was not neatly organised. lotion was detached from the wall.

As an ALL Accor+ Explorer member, we were treated warmly at check-in. But then after that, the experience went downhill. When we made our first visit to the Executive Lounge, the access to which was included in our rate, we were first told that "only one" person per room could use the Lounge for free. They quickly corrected that mistake, but why would anyone even say that? Two of the cocktails we wanted to order, which were on the menu, were "not available." We wanted to use the swimming pool, but at no time were there more than five lounge chairs around the pool deck, even though there was room for many more. We were upgraded to a suite, which was very roomy (a nice touch), but the suite was minimally furnished and decorated, and the television set kept turning on whenever we put our room card in the slot to activate the electricity. In fact, the TV would often turn on for no reason, sometimes in the middle of the night. Another drawback is that no staff member seems to feel empowered to make any decision. I stopped by the restaurant to make reservations for the Friday night seafood BBQ (more on that later), for which hotel guests receive a discount, and I asked if we were entitled to an extra discount as an ALL Accor+ Explorer member. The attendant said she'd have to "check with the manager." She must have forgotten to do so, because no one ever got back to us with an answer to that question. As for the buffet itself, it was very disappointing. There were few choices of fish, poor-quality meat, and the only seafood available was squid (which was good) -- no shrimp, no scallops, no langoustines, or anything like that. And there was only one dessert -- a chocolate cake with ice cream. There was a bigger variety of desserts in the Executive Lounge.

Pullman has always been my first choice whenever i stay in Miri. It has always been a pleasant experience until this stay. The shower in my room had no hot water. Upon requesting for a late check out, i was told it was chargeable after 1:30pm. I did not argue or made aware that i am a silver member of accor. However one of my benefits that comes with this is a late check out, if it is available. I check out on a sunday, if there was a likely hood that the room was unavailable, should that be informed to me instead of pushing a charge notice on me.
