The first room I was put in had a faulty door where the reader was not responsive to the key card. I have 2 young children and we were coming back from a long day and had to experience a very long process of waiting outside the door whilst I went down to reception to report the issue followed by taking 20 minutes for the maintenance personnel to help us in. As you can imagine, having to calm two young children down whilst waiting for the room door to open was not a pleasant experience for either the parents nor the children. The following day we requested a room change since the door was still not accessible via key card. The room was only ready after breakfast and thus the moving process was also unpleasant as we needed to waist once again for the maintenance/floor manager to manually open the door for us to get into the original room to pack up and move.

I had a good stay at Pullman Miri Waterfront. Upon arrival, Bellman Raymond was welcoming and helpful. Check-in was smooth with Mary and Balqis. The first room was not clean, but Jean promptly arranged a room upgrade, which I appreciated. Bellmen Canninius and Max were also very helpful. Service was excellent as always, though room cleanliness could be improved as the floor was dusty and a few areas were not properly cleaned. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
