receptionist was very friendly, good breakfast spread with a nice ambience, room is spacious though not very well-lit. TV didn't work when it was raining (astro problem).

It was a decent stay although I think cleanliness could be improved :)
Dining area (especially lower deck) was quite dusty/dirty and it felt like the furniture and floor hadn’t been cleaned in a long time

Great customer service, front desk employees were friendly, but I made a request weeks before my stay there to have a dessert or cake prepared before my check-in as a birthday surprise to my friend, I was even willing to pay, but I was informed during check-in that the cake was not in the room yet, and I can wait up to 30 mins just to get it ready, but I just wanted to check-in as I just had a long drive for hours.
I would be willing to pay if it meant I can get the cake ready before we check-in to have a better surprise experience for my friend, and I even checked-in a bit late, almost an hour late, so I was surprised the cake was not ready yet. However, they upgraded our room (maybe to compensate, I'm not sure) so I was grateful.
Also, this was my second stay at the hotel and I'm surprised to see there were so much wear and tear already in the room. The bathroom curtains were not clean as well.

Location hotel and hotel accommodation are good👍. But room cleaning service was very very poor. Never replaced some of the rooms necessarily and didn't clean our rooms floor on the second day of our accommodation. All of us included my relatives also found the room's cabinet never cleaned out fully dusty. And the floor when we checked in also not all had cleaned up too.

Overall, it is an excellent hotel but I did not have time to use all the facility.
Downside:
1. I can hear all the noises coming from other rooms, people walking, showering etc.
2. No room service menu.
