Good option in Hanoi, some improvement opportunities

I was in room 1708. Room was very large, feels more like an studio/small apartment than a hotel room. It's a setup that starts with a kitchen, walk in closet, shower+toilet, bedroom and living room. Very big. Bed was comfortable, pillows were good, quite unique in that they had a semi double pillow attached to each other. Did not see it before. Check in was smooth. Couple of opportunities or feedback: -From my room, I could hear 100% clear the shower/toilet usage in the room next door. As in, I could hear almost as if I were in the shower next room the water flow, the tap open, etc. Not sure this has an "easy" fix but I thought of sharing, specially for those who have a sensitive ear. -Breakfast was large and ample, but I would say overall quality was maybe a 6 out of 10. I think the management could fine tune the overall breakfast experience, including food quality.

Our family of four (two adults, two kids) had a wonderful week-long stay at the Novotel Hanoi. We booked a King Studio, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The room was truly huge, offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. A real highlight for us was the kitchenette, especially the washing machine with a drying function – a lifesaver when traveling with children! A special shout-out must go to the exceptional room cleaning team who kept our space spotless throughout our stay. Breakfast was generally good with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, after seven days, the repetition did become a bit tiresome, and a more frequent refresh of the offerings would be a welcome improvement. Additionally, the Indian corner wasn't quite up to par with our expectations. Aside from these minor points, our experience was exactly what we've come to expect from Novotel – consistently reliable and without any unpleasant surprises. Check-in was quick and smooth, and we found the staff across the entire hotel to be friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained. Overall, we had a fantastic family stay at the Novotel Hanoi and would definitely recommend it, especially the King Studio for families needing extra space and the convenience of a kitchenette.

장기출장이나 키친과 세탁이 필요한 분들이면 수영장안쓴다 생각하고 묶을만 할것 같아요. 아이가 있거나 수영장 사용계획이 있으시다면 오지마세요. 직원들 영어구사 잘못하고. (짐작하고 pool 만 듣고 내얘긴 듣지도 않고 다른 소리함) 수영장 곰팡이, 깨진타일 한번도 갈지 않은것 같은 더러운물, 청소를 안한지오래되어 미끄러운 바닥, 컴플레인하니 보수중이라고 ㅎㅎ 체크인할때 그런말없었고 수영장 이용한다니 안내해줘놓고?? 어이상실. 수영장 매일 이용할 계획이라 개선이 내일까지 어렵다면 호텔 바꾸고 싶다고 했으나 낼 아침까지 하겠다 우김.. 물론 전혀 개선안됌. 방으로 콜백 달라 했으나 아무도 안함. 매니저도 마찬거지.. 결국 지내는동안 수영장 계속 못썼고 보상도 없었음. 추후 돌아와서 헤드쿼터에 항의메일썼더니 간신히 리워드 포인트 줌..절대비추 가지마세요..중국,한국 단체관광객도 너무 많고 너무 성의없고..저 심지어 유료 멤버쉽&티어 있는데도 이런대우.. 암튼 비추합니다. 애 안다쳤기에 다행이예요. 애가 먹을만한 메뉴도 부족해요. 방은 폭이좁고 긴형태고 좀 어둡고 답답한 감이있어요. 하드웨어가 오래된것 같습니다.
