A clean, well appointed room, in an ideal location for the NEC. Competitively priced. Great WiFi. Let down slightly by the fact that the double bed was made up of two singles, which created an uncomfortable ridge. Some wear and tear to carpet and doors, but this did not detract from the stay.

Great hotel has everything you need! The rooms were clean and a good size. I stayed in the room as part of a work Christmas party at NEC which was around a 5 minute walk away. The shower and bathroom were good. We paid for breakfast the next morning which was all great quality foods with a nice variety. We also got an Uber into Birmingham city centre which cost £22 each way.

We have stayed here before, and everything has been fine. But this time it didn`t go well at all. After a long flight we were glad to walk over to the hotel, have a beer and go to the room for a nights rest. But at 2am there was an almighty noise outside in the corridor ,a few lads shouting and mucking about, and slamming doors. Then a bit later another lot, and then at about 3.30 am another lot. We had to be up at 6am to catch a train, so we were really tired. Mentioned it to reception, Xmas parties in NEC probably she said. Not the hotels fault, but I don`t understand how thoughtless some people can be. Have a good time, fine ,but think about other people when you get back to the hotel. If had known which rooms they were in, I would have banged very loudly on their doors at 6.30 am when we left !!

Excellent staff - especially at check in when it was so busy and the receptionist remained calm and professional. Excellent location for NEC. Easy 10 minute walk. Good value room with breakfast. Rooms a little dated BUT location and staff override that. Definitely stay again. Thank you to the warm, friendly and professional staff for making a great stay. Breakfast staff were great too even again when busy. Superb staff!! They clearly work hard and yet have time to be warm, friendly and helpful even when busy and building work happening. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes from the Arena - we were going to a concert. Friendly, helpful staff. Room clean and tidy albeit a little dated. Breakfast was fine, good selection and plentiful. Only minor moan, as with other hotels, some guests inability to close a door quietly !
