Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay at Novotel Singapore on Stevens. We are pleased to hear you found our housekeeping service good and our team friendly. However, we are very sorry to learn that your arrival and check-in experience fell short of your expectations. We understand your concern regarding the early room arrangement request made via email. While we always do our best to accommodate such requests, early check-in and room pre-allocation are subject to room availability on the day of arrival, as rooms must first be fully inspected and released by our housekeeping team to ensure they meet the standards. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee early access in advance, even when requested prior to arrival as the hotel was full. We are also sorry that the communication at reception created frustration and this was not clearly explained at the point of check-in. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and we will be reviewing this internally with our Reservations and Front Office team to ensure our communication is clearer, more consistent, and delivered with greater care and empathy. Please rest assured that there is never any intention to “force a sale,” but rather to ensure transparency based on room availability and booking conditions. Your feedback highlights an important opportunity for us to improve how we manage expectations and communicate during peak occupancy periods. We appreciate you taking the time to highlight both the positives and areas for improvement, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother and more seamless experience in the future.
