Het is niet de eerste keer dat ik in Ealing verblijf, maar het is wel de eerste keer dat me een aantal minpuntjes opvielen. De kamer die we kregen was volgens mij al een tijdje niet meer gebruikt. Er lag een dikke laag stof op de bijzettafel, en er hing ook maar 1 handdoek in de badkamer om je af te drogen (we waren met 2). Vroeger stond er een doos met papieren zakdoekjes, deze keer niet meer en ook de handdoek om je handen af te drogen was niet meer aanwezig. De douchebak begon onderaan sporen van roest te vertonen. Het personeel was zoals altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en lekker en altijd aangevuld, en de omgeving voelt voor mij als centraal London, maar dan zonder de grote drukte. Perfecte afstand tot de metro (central, district en Elisabeth lines), goeie busverbindingen en heel veel lekkere restaurantjes in de buurt om de wereldkeuken te ontdekken.

Ontvangst goed. Wat ik minder vond is dat er om 09:50u al gevraagd wordt wie nog wat wil van het ontbijt, omdat ze 10u sluiten. Mensen zijn op vakantie, ik snap dat het tot 10u is, maar wat flexibiliteit tonen is wel fijn. Ik heb in andere hotels gezien dat mensen die iets na sluitingstijd komen nog rustig kunnen ontbijten. Bij jullie wordt er al opgeruimd terwijl je nog eet. Borden enz. ophalen terwijl mensen nog eten. De sluitingstijd van 10u is bij jullie echt in steen geschreven. Heel jammer.

We would, however, like to clarify our breakfast service approach, as guest comfort remains very important to us. When breakfast is approaching its closing time, our team always informs guests who are still dining that the service will be ending shortly and asks whether they would like anything further before the buffet closes. This is done to ensure that guests have the opportunity to enjoy anything else they may wish before breakfast concludes. In practice, we do allow a short grace period beyond 10:00am so that guests can finish their breakfast at a relaxed pace. Regarding table clearing, our team collects used plates to help keep tables clean and comfortable, allowing guests to continue sitting, chatting, and enjoying their time without having empty or used dishes in front of them. This is intended to enhance comfort rather than create any sense of urgency. That said, we are sorry if this process felt rushed during your experience. Your feedback is appreciated and has been shared with the team to ensure we maintain a warm, relaxed atmosphere right up until the end of breakfast service.
