The cliff is a hidden gem in sentosa. We staying in Sofitel . We love the service food and the atmosphere is amazing. We like the mocktail made by Mani and the service team is very helpfull Julianne and Sid. We will come back for warm hospitality. Thanks cliff team.

Awful checkin experience

After the request for an early check in, staff member juma did not give the room. The rooms were ready still they made us wait for 2.5 hrs from 11am - 1.30pm No point in being the gold accor member as no one is concerned or cared even for a member

I was quite disappointed for a Sofitel. It didn’t meet my expectations. The hotel was very dated. Dark pool with not very inviting sunbeds. Room was dark (level 1 which is garden level). Food however was good (Indian was great)- nice touch that they have kids plates, bowls etc. Breakfast has a good selection and service there was good. I personally wouldn’t choose it again unless they renovate extensively. Take ages to answer phones when requesting something and then take ages to provide milk or replace broken kettle etc. It is definitely not 5 star.

Hotel standard has dropped

I used to love staying in this place. Being an accor member of more than a decade, this used to be one of my fav hotel, so much so that I was willing to pay to stay in this hotel on a random weekday, but this recent stay after 1 year of not visiting was really disappointing. I arrived just slightly before 3pm, to find out that the room was not ready for check in, honestly after being an accor gold member for more than a decade, this was my first time experiencing something like that. After checking in, I also realised some of the items provided in the room were no longer the same, like what other reviews have pointed out, there's no laundry bag, and the slippers provided was of a lower quality without the sofitel logo - not being fussy, but that's what all the other sofitel hotels provide across the world, hence one would expect the same for sofitel sentosa. The bed was indeed not as comfortable (like what one of the other review also pointed out), it was lower and its slightly harder, I was having difficulties falling asleep because of that. I think what really surprised me was when I asked for a late check out, they weren't able to provide me anything beyond 1pm, and it was a cold hard "the latest check out is 1pm" with no warmth or apologies over the phone line despite not having the room ready by 3pm for my check in. I went back my accor app multiple times to confirm that early check in and late check out was supposedly possible upon request for accor membership holder, putting the accor membership aside, I have really great experience for late check out for multiple other hotels in sentosa within this 1 year of 2025 - despite not having a paying membership with those hotels, they were able to extend the room generously beyond 1pm (I have reservation emails and records to confirm this). This recent stay was so disappointing that I have canceled my subsequent stays with sofitel sentosa.

10th times in Singapore but first time staying in Sentosa

rooms are very cozy and spacious... indeed, it's one of the most cozy that I stayed in Singapore (visited for more than 10 times for business). Pool is the highlight, and breakfast is very good with lots of choices. Good hospitality by Farah for my breakfast experience.
