I stayed at Novotel Ambassador Seoul with high expectations — and in many ways, the hotel lived up to them. The room was comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and I would rate all aspects of the property itself a perfect 10. However, my experience at check-in was disappointing. I had a confirmed reservation through the Accor All app, but I was charged a higher rate by Officer Mark Lee at the front desk. I later realized there was a discrepancy of over 40,000 KRW, which was corrected after I reported it from my room. I appreciated the prompt response and welcome drink coupon offered, but the interaction itself left a negative impression. It didn’t help that Mr. Lee suggested I take the subway to my next destination because it was “cheaper” — instead of simply offering options like taxi first, then subway. It felt like a judgment of my financial ability, which was unwelcome. I also experienced a lapse in housekeeping. Despite leaving my key and confirming with another receptionist (Ms. Anna Kim), the room wasn’t cleaned — only towels were replaced. Even by evening, the room had not been serviced. Bellboy Noah Kim happened to witness the "Make Up Room" light still on during his rounds. Lastly, I gave a 6 rating not to criticize, but to encourage improvement. This hotel has strong potential and could become a top destination for travelers. With better service consistency, I believe it can achieve that. Despite the hiccups, I enjoyed my stay and would return again.

I took my Mom here for her 80th birthday and we enjoyed our stay immensely. It was her first time back in Korea since emigrating to Canada 55 years ago. The location is excellent, being so close to Yongsan station and iPark Mall. Being centrallly located in Seoul, this hotel is the ideal spot to serve as a home base as one explores different parts of the city. The double twin suite we stayed in was clean and well serviced on a regular basis. The fitness center had everything that a fitness enthusiast would want, located on the 4th floor. The highlight of our stay was a surprise greeting from Zarina Ashurmetova, the Guest Experience Manager, who, along with a team member brought my Mom a most thoughtful birthday present. I could see how genuine their delight was in creating such a happy moment for my Mom. You can't go wrong in staying at the Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan. Highly recommended!

On my recent stay at the Novotel Suite Ambassador Seoul Yongsan, I was delighted by this new, spacious, and modern hotel, which was opened during the COVID era. The hotel boasts a huge lobby that connects to the lbis hotel, and there's a convenient store on the second floor-perfect for grabbing snacks and drinks at midnight. The room itself was immaculate, featuring a washing machine and dryer, which added an extra layer of convenience to my stay. The mini kitchen was a thoughtful touch, and the bed was incredibly comfy with spotlessly clean bedsheets. In terms of location, this hotel is superbly positioned. It is connected to the Yongsan metro station and a large shopping mall, making it easy to navigate the city and enjoy some retail therapy. Having stayed at many Novotel properties around the world, I can confidently say that this has been my best Novotel experience. The blend of modern amenities, cleanliness, and good location truly sets the Novotel Suite Ambassador Seoul Yongsan apart. I'm looking forward to my next stay here!
