Maybe it is due to the shut down caused by Covid 19 restrictions. Most of the staff were unmotivated and look so unhappy being there. Except for a few, most staff were not helpful at all. Instead of helping guests with luggage, they rather go to smoke outside the entrance. Limited F&B and small food selection at breakfast. Overall, it was not a pleasant nor comfortable stay. When we check-in at 5pm, we still had to wait 30 minutes for housekeeping to inspect the room. It should have been ready!! Only limited street side parking is available, unbelievable for a hotel of this standard. Very far below the standards of the Mercure brand in many aspects.

Reception is very helpful and appreciated their help to get emergency rooms as we needed an extra night in last minute. Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartments, overall was satisfied and everyone is happy. The bed is comfortable. Only few things not working well eg, hot water not consistently available and Aircon not cold but it still okay for us.

Perfect location for those who didn't drive.

Everything is good. But I guess the operating hours for the swimming pool is a bit frustrating, opens at 9am and closes at 5pm.

Im quite disappointed with room. The price for quite high compare to Horizon Hotel, Klagan Hotel & Hyatt Regency. But their room much more satisfied. Your bathroom very small im not even comfortable to enter. Honestly, this is the last i will stay at your hotel.

Our stay was satisfactory, nothing stood out as being exceptional nor was below standard. Staff check in was ok but wasn't too friendly but wasn't unprofessional. Room had a smoke smell, breakfast was acceptable but not like the last time I stayed here and Staff didn't seem as friendly this time. I probably wouldn't go back after having such a enjoyable stay on my previous stay I felt let down this time

First of all, the staff are all so friendly! Me and my family were greeted nicely. The room was so clean and tidy, only the air-conditioning was slower than expected. Overall Mercure Hotel really gave us good time and it was definitely a worthy experience! Thank you!

Dear Mercure Hotel, A very disappointing and we dont know if we will gonna enjoy our stay to your hotel for 5 nights. First thing we sent an email to your reservation about our booking on 09th March and we got an out of office auto-reply from reservation manager. Therefore, we sent an email to the reservation email on our booking request for 30th April - 05th May. We expected atleast there is some acknowledgement from your reservation knowing that your hotel is one of the prestigious hotel. We assume even the reply wont take place within 24hours/ 48hours but atleast do reply to your guest. Until then we need to call the hotel on 28th April and spoke to Mabel at reservation on our booking and notified that we will be arriving late due our flight. Did remind Mabel that we did send an email and would be good if she can atleast reply with acknowledgment. Yesterday 30th April 2022 we arrived to the hotel around 7:33pm and the receptionist handled our check-in. She did the check-in and we went to the room and found out that the room assigned to us is king size bed despite that we booked for 2 single beds. We went down to reception with our luggage again. What really a troublesome as we are tired from flight and we havent taken our meal. The thing is why the reservation and front office did not take their responsibility to go through on what the guest’s requirements. We are not staying just for 1 night but we will be staying for 5 nights and we wont know if we can get the hospitality we are aiming. And we are not staying to your hotel for complimentary but we are paying guest. When we got to the new room, what another disappointment as the safe box is not working, housekeeping should check it before releasing the room, is it? We have to call the operator and responded to send the maintenance, and again our dinner will be delayed as we need to wait for the person to rectify the safe box. Along, we also found out that our hotel room do not have basic amenties such hanger, the toiletries were arranged nicely however the showerbath bottle is empty. What a shame, details should be matter. Team members seems working blindly. Do hope you should improve your service should you wish to remain as one of the respectable hotel in KK.

Overall stay was good, but somehow the Front Desk people need to be 'better-trained' and have better responses / attention to clients' need. I feel bad as all the time, it has to be Front Desk Manager who can assist well. This is not a standard front-liner service

Heartfelt thanks to all who had make my 1 week stay a very comfortable and pleasant one. Special thanks to the chefs who made delicious breakfast & snack meals for us. Excellent services provided by front desk & front liners (who help in my car park & proactively shelter me with umbrella when it rained heavily), house keeping who provided necessities and not forgetting a very great team at Compass Bar & Restaurant for their warm hospitality. Looking forward to my next stay soon in April.
