Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Quiet comfortable rooms with a great breakfast , lots of choice of buffet items (cheese, meats, fish, breads and cakes etc). Short walk from Eurostar terminus (Brussels Midi) and access to abundant trains servicing the city and adjoining towns. Well worth checking in, if visiting Brussels for a few days.

Excellent stay at this well priced hotel.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel, from arrival to checkout, everything was great. Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, all areas including the room was clean and tidy and well maintained. Our 1st floor room was very large and despite facing the main road and station opposite, the double glazing did a good job at keeping the noise out. Location wise, the "Midi" train station is opposite with train, metro and tram/bus connections. For those coming from the UK, this is incredibly useful when arriving via Eurostar. A very short train journey into Brussels central is very quick and easy from the station. On departure day, you can leave your baggage in the hotel luggage room which is useful to make the most out of your last day if you have a later departure time. Immediate area is a bit run down but fairly typical of the outskirts of a large city. On the Sunday morning we woke up to find a very large market on the road right outside the hotel. Hundreds of stalls with some great (and very well priced!) products available including fresh fruit, veg, meat, cheese, clothing, cleaning products etc.

Arrived by Eurostar and after finally locating the proper exit we located the hotel just across the street. That was our fault. The sidewalks were cobblestone and hard to move rolling suitcases on. Check in was easy and friendly. Nice lobby. Loved the Brita water station in the lobby. The room was European size and we had chosen two singles bed. The beds were awful! Hard and really hot. They had a vinyl mattress cover and a quilted duvet with cover. We couldn’t get the ac on at all and should have called for help but didn’t. Two very hard pillows made for a bad sleep. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet. We’re not big breakfast people..toast coffee only but they only offered the buffet. Ended going down the street. The area around the hotel was rundown with lots of garbage on the street. But a typical train station area.

This Hotel is located near to the Eurostar departure terminal and a shot walk of about 20 minute’s in to the city centre. There is an abundance of restaurant’s with in the surrounding area with a nice Italian restaurant 50 metres from the front door. The staff in the hotel are polite, helpful, professional and very pleasant. The hotel breakfast is first class and the hotel offers a small bar and limited evening menu for those who want to eat in ( Sunday excepted for bar and evening meals). The staff in the hotel keep it very clean and tidy. The area around midi station is busy and some have warned of pick pockets in the area, although from our experience at time writing, we did not find the feel any different to other inner cities around the world. The police presence in the area would indicate that they have the area well patrolled and under control.

Hotel is very close to midi station and hence the choice. Our suite was on two levels. Comfortable beds. lots of eating out options nearby. Hotel does offer buffet breakfast however we chose not to opt for it. Has a nice Italian restaurant next door where we had our dinner. Their ac in the room somehow did not function, we tried setting the fan speed and lowering the temperature however to no avail. That was terrible. We did inform this to the front office on the next day. Check in was smooth and same with checkout.
