Pros: * Staff enabled us to check in early * Great location off Grand Place and only a few minutes’ walk to Central Station * Discount for breakfast if you booked the day before (€15 each instead of €18) * Complimentary water in the room * Lovely city view overlooking Grand Place * Modern and efficient shower * Charging points by the bed * Staff were generally friendly/helpful * Able to leave luggage at the hotel after checking out, then collected later in the afternoon before travelling home Cons: * Room being located right opposite the elevator, so could often hear the button and people getting in & out * Lack of soundproofing - could hear doors banging shut, guests in other rooms talking, running water, coughing etc so this was poor and impacted bits of our stay * Inconsiderate guests (including children) making so much noise even at and after midnight, showing complete disregard for others - hotel need to put signs up to remind people to not be selfish and to shut up when other people are trying to sleep! * Body towels for the shower were far too small, and we were only given tiny flannels instead of hand towels - these were not fit for purpose and there was nowhere to dry the towels after use, which meant we had no choice but to have them replenished daily * Bed seemed fairly comfortable, however we woke up with backache on two mornings - there were obvious stains on the mattress from previous guests, which was very off-putting * Room for two guests was only provided with one extra pillow - these were very flat and did not provide support * Confusion around whether the Ibis offered food - there was a menu and information in the room which said food could be provided, however when we asked at reception one evening (around 7pm), they seemed confused and said we couldn’t get any food at the hotel so we had to look elsewhere * Not enough storage space in room e.g. no drawers * No mini fridge - would have expected this for the price * Toilet shoved in a tiny corner of the bathroom which made the space feel claustrophobic, and sink was very slow to drain water away * No instructions for heating/cooling contraption so was hard to understand how this worked Overall, the negatives outweighed the positives of our stay which was disappointing. The view from the room was lovely, and the main highlight for us. If we visit Brussels again, we will look at staying elsewhere due to the aforementioned list of negatives.

The hotel is in the perfect location. Very close to the train station & Grand Place. Also nearby many shops & restaurants. The room clean but was TINY! I’ve never had a smaller hotel room. Also the bed topper kept sliding off. I kept falling off the bed in the middle of the night. Seriously hard to sleep on this bed & room could barely fit 2 people. Overall, I would recommend because of location.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to friends, or stay here again. The location is amazing, but that's about it. The beds are extremely hard, I had to lay out pillows to sleep on and I was still sore the next morning. I was woken up constantly by noises, be it sirens, banging on walls/ceilings, or people screaming outside at 3 am. We were also charged for services we did not request or use (i was able to get this straightened up with the front desk).

I chose the hotel because of the location, which is pretty optimal for me, close to the central station, as this was my first time visiting Brussels. The check in was slow, only one person working at the reception that time. Some biscuits were given as a Accor Platinum welcome gift. No upgrade. The room was a bit of a shock - In the pictures on the Accor site the rooms look pretty usual ibis rooms with the previous ibis style, but the room they gave me was nothing like the pictures. It was tiny, basically the bed with minimal room around it and clearly not big enough to fit the usual ibis furniture of that style. Window also very tiny. Definitely not big enough for two people to stay comfortable. I've stayed in ibis Single rooms that have been bigger than this. The bath room was okay, though. I asked the guy who checked me in about it, but he claimed all the rooms of the category are the same. This turned out not to be true, as later that evening I met a couple that were just arriving the hotel and asked to see their standard room, which was definitely bigger. First time leaving the room, the elevator button on the 5th floor did not work. Luckily there was a member of staff on the floor, she guided me to the stairs down to the 4th floor. This was fixed pretty fast. On the welcome letter they mentioned the premium wifi being available from the reception. The next day I asked about this, as I needed to work from the room. The guy who originally checked me in knew nothing about this. Another FA arrived and said they could order a code, but I probably not need it. This turned out to be true, the standard wifi was good enough for teams meetings, even with video. The breakfast wasn't included on my rate so can't comment on that. Only one hour of late check out was available, but they agreed that I can work from the breakfast area so that worked out well. Check out was really slow, again only one person working at the reception. I wanted to do it personally, just to confirm that working from the breakfast area was still ok, but after 12 minutes of waiting, I decided to give up and drop the key in the fast check out box. Overall, must say I wasn't impressed.

Great location. Less than a five minute walk from Grand-Place. Restaurants, Bars & Shop all within walking distance. The Brussels Central Station is a five minute walk from the Hotel so very convenient if travelling by Train to/from Airport. Hotel is very clean and & modern. The staff were very polite & helpful. The luggage storage room with the lockers is a great idea - wish more Hotel's had this feature. Breakfast was very good - the scrambled eggs were deliciously creamy. The room was very clean, good TV channels, toiletries provided in bathroom. Slept well both nights. We both found the room quite small and tight to work around & shower very small space also. However we were only there for a two night stay and were out during the day so it was not too much of an issue. Would stay here again if returning to Brussels. Very nice Hotel.
