We visited your excellent restaurant three times during our visit to Rennes. One day the 18th was my birthday. The menu was so good. I could not resist the John Dore with sauces that were so delicious. The service was excellent. The waiters were brilliant explaining every item in the dish in English. My wife and I enjoyed every moment of our visit and would love to return. I can only say, tres,tres bon je suits tres content . Merci beaucoup.

Nice hotel in good location in Rennes. Tough to drive to - plan to park offsite and walk (a few blocks) to hotel. Carrfour Express across the street for snacks. We paid for a premium room and got a room on top floor with lovely balcony. Unfortunately, it was too hot to enjoy. The AC was feeble and we had to ask for a fan in order to sleep. Toiletries - ick - combo shampoo and body wash (cheap!) - terrible for hair. But - to my delight - clock in room (as part of the telephone but usable as a night clock)! Yay - thank you.

We stayed at this hotel during the last night of our week long Brittany trip. We have chosen this hotel by taking into account the very positive recommendations as we wanted to have a comfortable and relaxing last night. But, it looks like we were at the hotel at a wrong time: the façade was totally covered with a construction like second façade as if the hotel was closed and going through a renovation. We learned afterwards that weeks prior to our visit, there were some protests in town and the hotel had taken this precaution to prevent damage. But to be honest, that was not a very positive first impression, we could at least have been notified via e-mail before our arrival. On top of it, the reception staff being pretty slow in handling the arrivals and our room being very small and cramped and with no veranda at all (we have opted for a room with veranda when booking online), our experience was not exactly what we hoped for. But other than these matters, the location of the hotel was very central, the ambiance in the lobby was very chic, our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very rich and satisfactory.

We would like to clarify that your visit took place in 2024, during an exceptional period when our property had to implement temporary precautionary measures—such as the installation of a protective façade—due to external events beyond our control. While these actions were taken to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we understand how they may have impacted your first impression, and we regret that you were not informed of the situation in advance. Since then, the hotel has fully regained its charm in 2025: the façade is now completely open, our spaces have been enhanced, and we have strengthened both our guest communication and service standards. We are pleased to read that you appreciated the bed, breakfast, and the elegant atmosphere of our lobby, and we truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in a fully restored and peaceful setting that lives up to your expectations. This hotel is simply superb, a real gem. The staff is ultra professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. The property itself is very lovely and the rooms also very lovely and comfortable. Further, the little garden is simply wonderful and comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was just sublime, truly multiple Michelin star worthy! Highly recommend.
