Terrible reception staff

Very dated hotel, the most obnoxious receptionist you’ll ever meet, called Vera - incredibly rude and unwelcoming, tried to charge 100 Euro per night for a “sea view” upgrade in this kip. On top they put a holding deposit of 200 Euro for a two night stay, which is fine but seems pretty excessive for a hotel if this standard. In short, there are many nicer hotels in Nice, where they understand customer service and will welcome you to this beautiful city. Don’t stay here!

Great location situated right on the front of the promenade. Room was basic & dated but if it’s just somewhere to sleep & good location then this place is ok. Room doesn’t get cleaned, no fresh towels or bedding & you need to take your own rubbish out when you leave. Breakfast was poor to be honest, there was one member of staff on & unfortunately she couldn’t keep up with replenishing everything & cleaning tables. The wait was too long for more milk, bread, etc so we usually left after a quick coffee (if the machine had milk in it) to start our day. We noticed some guests taking lots of slices of bread etc hence why there was hardly anything there sometimes. Great hotel if your going to be out alday & just want a place to sleep & quick coffee & pastry before you set out. Tram line right behind the hotel but was really quiet we never heard it.

Great hotel for the money we paid, nice location on sea front, great staff speaking good English, very good breakfast ideal place to explore near tram station and bus stop, will use again when in the area , nice hotel to explore the area, good sun terrace if you fancy getting a tan

We stayed in a sea view apartment for 4 people overlooking the Promenades des Anglais and the beach. We had everything we could have possibly wanted for our stay. When we arrived the gentleman on reception was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully clean and the bedroom being separated from the balcony by the lounge was really quiet and comfortable. The Kitchen had everything including dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, all appliances needed and loads of crockery and cooking utensils. We had an excellent four night stay and to top it all off the breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and constantly restocked by a lovely helpful young lady. Again, she was super helpful and very cheerful. We found getting to the hotel from the airport really easy. The Nice tram stops just behind the hotel, ultra modern, cheap and easy to use. We also used the train to go to Antibes for the day, only a 20 minute journey and a very nice day out. We have stayed in much more expensive places but the Adagio was better than many. We would have no hesitation revisiting. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for helping us to have a good holiday.

Great view, good sized room, good location but opposite end of town to sights and shops (45 minute walk along the sea front or £10 Uber) Rooftop terrace was disappointing and nothing like the photos. Air conditioning didn’t work unfortunately. Blackout blind was great for a good nights sleep.
