ibisはどこに泊まっても同じクオリティでハズレがない。 駅近く便利。運河ツアーのスタート地点にも近くアムステルダム到着後荷物を預けてすぐ行動開始できた。 シャワーの作りが少し独特なので使用時に注意。

Great location City atmosphere is great. Hotel staff not so much. The front desk/reception were not friendly and projected an unfriendly right through my entire stay. Shame as these are the people you first meet as you begin your stay. The standard room was not worth the money for two night. My college dorm room was bigger!

Great “Centraal” Location

We stayed three nights in one week at this hotel in two different rooms as we visited Berlin for two days in between each stay. Both times we visited we were impressed by how friendly and accommodating the hotels reception staff were. The first time we checked in we were staying for just one night and arrived at the hotel at 10am to ask if we could leave our luggage somewhere and come back at the proper 3pm check in. The guy on reception said “you can have your room now as it is ready”. Which was an unexpected result. The first room (110) we had was a small double room on the first floor which seemed to be at the rear of the hotel with no real window view. This room was small but when your in Amsterdam you mostly only use a hotel as somewhere to rest your head and all facilities available were fine. The bathroom was modern and had a really good shower. Room also had a free to use safety deposit box. The hotel is in a busy area surrounded by pubs, restaurants, tram network, Amsterdam Centraal railway station and the busy canal. Id say the room was free from the outside noise and therefore a good night’s sleep was had in a comfortable bed with two nice comfy pillows each. The second visit three days after our first was for two nights and we had a standard double room (502) on the fifth floor. On check in at the hotel the receptionist gave us a chit for a complimentary breakfast as we were returning customers which saved us £31 (the cost of 2 x hotel buffet incl a hot breakfast’s). Another nice touch by the staff. The standard double room wasn’t that much bigger than the small double room we stayed in previously apart from a longer corridor entrance. All facilities again were fine. This room was at the front of the hotel and had a fantastic view overlooking Dam Square. The room however was a bit noisier than the first with all the sounds from the outside world getting in. I did however think it would be noisy and knowing the location was not surprised and personally as a heavy sleepers it didn’t bother us. I would recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The breakfast can be purchased when you get there on can be booked in advance when you book the room. Good value compared to prices across Amsterdam around £15 per person. Free coffee and water available for all customers in reception. The location is two minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal railway station. Don’t get this hotel mixed up with the huge Ibis hotel situated to the left of Amsterdam Centraal station as you look at it from Dam Square.

Excellent location and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Rooms are small but adequate. Buy a three day transit. pass which will cover aitport and all the main sights.

Room was clean and tidy, but kettle, no wardrobe, no fridge. It was not a cheap price. Leaving your suitcases was not an option unless you paid for it. The only thing it had going for it, was it was central and easy to get there from airport. Would only go there again if I was travelling by train to other parts.
