Central, but tired rooms

Central location (reasonably) and a good price for a Saturday night- 2 proper beds in the twin rather than a bed and sofabed. Interesting double-function bathroom door and a decent shower. Breakfast was cheap and cheerful and check-in/ check-out easy. Only downside is rooms are a bit tired and the air con didn’t work properly, with windows sealed closed.

We were really impressed with this 3 star hotel, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Loved the free coffee hot chocolate on offer and lemon water in reception a nice touch. The room was large and the bed was huge and comfortable. Loved the waterfall shower. It was freezing outside so we were glad of the good heating in the room. The breakfast was basic but nice and filling, gluten free bread available to help yourself. Very good location, we will stay again.

Welcoming staff on arrival Was made aware that we can make use of the coffee machine as much as we wanted in reception- free of charge. The room was nice and clean, very comfy bed and pillows! Felt like the tv could’ve been a bit more updated with smart tv options but not a massive deal. Massive bonus to have car parking available too! Will return in the future, thank you!

The experience of this place has been cheapened and it shows. 1. Sofa bed mattress has about as much support as P Diddy 2. Fake coffee machine serving instant coffee masquerading as real coffee is a down-market disgrace. Basically a headache in a cup. 3. Breakfast lacking choice and no proper coffee (see above) 4. Cashless not good. KEEP CASH UK Location was good however

The location of this hotel is excellent. A short 5 min walk to the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market. Great transport links, coaches, buses, trains and trams all within a short distance. The fan was noisy but I'm not going to let that get in the way of what was a good night's sleep. An excellent shower too. The breakfast was the best one I had all week when it came to the hotels I stayed in. Good value at £9 too. 2 Kids eat free with a paying adult.
