This was our third stay at the Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai. The service and restaurant were excellent. The staff were gracious and very attentive. The front desk staff especially Wendy and Seni were outstanding and incredibly helpful. The head of housekeeping Tarisma helped me with several items and followed up when I suggested that there should be electric outlets on both sides of the bed. Seni Arta checked in with me frequently after we encountered noise from construction outside our room. He made sure that we were moved to another room immediately and followed up afterwords to make sure we were happy with our new room. We come to Bali to catch a charter flight to the Wakatobi Dive resort every year. We normally only stay at the Novotel on our way out of Bali because of the convenience to the airport but after our recent visit we decided to spend to stay 3 nights at the beginning of our trip and not stay at the Anaya on the beach. The reason being that the Anvaya keeps adding costs to trip. Like additional fees for the airport transport. The quality of the staff and restaurant at the Novotel is so good that we will not go to the beach but stay at the Novotel instead.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a coffee machine and TV, though the TV didn’t really work as it seemed to rely on an unstable internet connection. Soundproofing was poor, and the air-conditioning wasn’t very effective. The bathroom had a separate loo and a glass-partitioned shower that could be screened from the bedroom. However, the sink leaked, and there was no shelf in the shower to place your own soap or shampoo. Coffee pods were provided but no milk in the room. Breakfast included an egg station. It was a hot 10 minute walk from the airport

Excellent hotel, staff and service, great location at the airport

We had a late evening flight out of Bali and decided to spend the last day here in this airport hotel; and what a good decision that was. Our Accor Platinum status was acknowledged at check-in, and we even got upgraded to a lovely suite. The lady who checked us in was quick and efficient, and explained all the hotel's facilities. Our suite was spacious, huge bathroom, with a comfortable sitting area. The hotel has an Exec Lounge, that provides mid-day snacks, afternoon tea, and evening canapes/drinks; which we made use off. The best aspect of this hotel is that it is right in the airport, and the international terminal / check-in counters are a very easy short less than 5 min covered walk away. Easy check-in at the last minute, no waiting around at the airport needed. By staying here, one has none of the stress of the famed Bali traffic to get to the airport on time (or early) Great location for an airport hotel, excellent service and rooms. If we ever have a late evening or early morning flight from Denpasar in future, we will definitely stay he last night here for the convenience, comfort and service.
