Lovely, chill and clean place to stay. Dog friendly, bowl with water given when asked. Room was clean with simple but tasteful design, slept well, quiet place. Staff really helpful and polite, they speak more languages which is really helpful. Morning walk just outside the hotel, fresh air, and peaceful view was just what we needed to recharge. The only Minus is that I parked the car in the hotel parking and had to pay as a paying guest, 12 euro for one night only and I only found out about this when I arived at the hotel not when I done the booking or the check in.

I would like to praise Daciana and her team for making my birthday weekend fantastic! The hotel is a 20 min easy walk to the old town, which was a winner after the German football victory that evening and old town being rather noisy. Would certainly recommend.

Was easy to find the hotel from the motorway and there was plenty of parking space. Immediate impression on entering was favourable, imaginative and contemporary decor, spacious lobby and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. Bedroom was big and airy with a view of the canal, river and cathedral. A lovely bathroom. We requested extra pillows, which were supplied with no issue - comfy bed. Cocktails in the bar very good and reasonably priced. Food very good and was possible to eat a restaurant meal in the bar - menu much more than just burger and chips too. Whilst dining we watched both working barges and cruise boats pass along outside. Wonderful relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the bar /restaurant. Excellent breakfast which was a pleasant surprise, there was plenty of choice including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and not just carby foods. Reasonable night's sleep, quiet location at night. Would be delighted to stay here again, was actually disappointed we were only staying for one night.

We travel with the whole family very often. I have a silver status in Accor Hotels, Ibis Card and my wife is a member of the Accor hotel chain. I have been working in the tourism industry for several years. Before going to this hotel, we stayed for a few days at the Ibis Styles hotels in Milan, Italy, at the Ibis in Lugano, Switzerland and also a month earlier at the Ibis in Nuremberg, Germany. Unfortunately, we are faced with a terrible situation in this hotel, the solution of which is only! the dismissal of this employee, who allowed himself, one can say, fraud actions! Situation; I reserved a hotel through the Accor Hotels application and left my card details. We arrived at the hotel with the whole family and paid! for the room immediately at the reception. After the payment, I asked for an invoice for this payment as it was a business trip. To this, this employee asked me for my debit card, took it in his hands and began to rewrite my personal data somewhere! I was in shock! I asked what are you doing? To which he replied to me that "I should write down your card details to make you an invoice". Why, I asked? Do you already have the data of my another one debit card in the Accor Hotels application and why can't you take the card data from there? Why do you need my second debit card details for an invoice at all? This is the first time I have encountered such a situation that someone takes client debit card into their own hands and rewrites personal data from it! I demanded him to return my debit card and this employee refused to do it! He refused to return my personal card! You understand! He refused to return my personal card and threatened that he would cancel my room reservation and payment for the room if I did not give him my personal payment card details! He started saying that you don't understand how the system works in Germany and you, that is, we are wrong! When we were at the Ibis Styles Milan and Ibis Lugano Swiss for three days ago and no one took my payment card in their hands and did not try to rewrite personal data from it! I have invoices for each month from the Accor Hotels chain and I know what the process of receiving them looks like! We were shocked! Have you ever faced such a situation! Horror and shock! After that, we started shouting and already addressing other hotel employees, this hotel employee threw us a payment card and quickly left! He just runaway! Another employee gave us a card to enter our paid room and told us verbatim - Go to your room! Get away from here! That is, he just sent us away from the reception desk to our room! We were shocked! Never before in our experience have we encountered such a thing! I work in tourism and could not imagine this situation! We wanted to call the police, but this employee just disappeared! I appeal to Accor Hotels to resolve this situation and dismiss this employee! As a silver member of the Accor hotel chain and the owner of the Ibis card, I demand that this employee be punished! Nice hotel, rip off parking

Overall this was pretty nice. My only gripes being: 1. 10 EUR parking - here say, parking on the street for free is quite some distance from the hotel. This is a rip off as there is really no other option. 2. Asked for extra pillow: "We don't have any" - eh? 3. Breakfast - cooked selection was poor, and in Regensburg there was not a sausage in sight. However, would I return? Yes!
