Nice location linked to the convention centre and cosmo mall. Importantly it is very near to the Impact park Go Kart and nice restaurant there. Monorail is also near by. Excellent and ample parking spaces (L2- covered ) and EV charger (AC only), EV anywhere charger (DC) available near by within 2km radius, use google map to locate. Nice Lobby and live guitar musics in evening.

Dog friendly?

Steven B Rodziny - Opinia zatwierdzona w TripAdvisor

Do not book this hotel if you think it's dog friendly! They charge you 800baht per dog extra when it's only 1500 baht for 2 adults!! So instead of thinking you are staying for 1500 it actually cost's you 3100 for 2 adults and 2 very small dogs! Rooms clean and staff were ok

Dear Steven B, Thank you for your feedback, and for your kind comment on the cleanliness of our rooms and the service from our team. As mentioned in our reply through another channel, we would like to reconfirm the information for clarity. Our hotel is not generally advertised as pet-friendly across all booking platforms. We only accept pets during special events, such as the International Dog Show, and always request that guests contact us in advance before bringing pets. Regarding the pet fee of THB 800 per dog, the initial charge was based on your confirmation of two dogs staying in two separate rooms (THB 800 per room). However, after further discussion at check-in, you informed us that both dogs would be in the same room, so the fee was adjusted to THB 800 in total for both dogs in one room. This fee is used to support additional cleaning procedures required after a pet stay, ensuring the room remains hygienic and comfortable for the next guest. As ibis hotels are individually operated, pet policies may vary depending on the location and specific property. While we love animals, our hotel is located at the heart of a major exhibition center, and is not generally promoted as pet-friendly. However, we do our best to accommodate requests during relevant events when informed in advance. We’re sorry if this caused any disappointment, and we truly appreciate your understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future. Sincerely,

A Masterclass in Misery – Ibis Bangkok IMPACT is a Disgrace to Hospitality

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Ibis Bangkok IMPACT is not just a bad hotel – it’s a wakeup call for how far a brand can fall when it hides behind the word “sustainability” to justify terrible service. Let’s start with the room – a literal box. Small, suffocating, with a bathroom so tight it feels like an airplane lavatory. The shower is child-sized, and don’t expect basic amenities. No iron, no toiletries, not even a toothbrush without chasing housekeeping multiple times. And here’s the real kicker – when you ask for a plate or spoon, they say “for sustainability reasons” and then charge 25 baht per item. Sustainability? Please. This is just a lazy excuse for being stingy and squeezing money from guests at every step. There is no room service, no warmth, and absolutely no effort to make guests feel welcome. The staff is indifferent at best, rude at worst. Smiles are non-existent, and any request is treated like a burden. And let’s talk about the breakfast – or what’s left of it. Arrive after 8:15 AM and you’ll be greeted by empty trays and NO bread. Yes – they run out of bread before 8:30 AM. It’s laughable, if it weren’t so infuriating. This place is a soulless, joyless, penny-pinching machine, not a hotel. Ibis should be ashamed to have their name on this property. If you're headed to IMPACT Arena – do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. This is not eco-friendly hospitality. It's just corporate cost-cutting disguised as greenwashing.

Dear Vivek S, Thank you for sharing your feedback - we genuinely value all guest perspectives, even when they're tough to hear. We're truly sorry your experience didn't meet expectations, and we'd like to address your concerns properly. First, I completely understand how our room sizes might feel compact if you weren’t expecting it. The size of the room and bathroom/shower are standard for IBIS brand across the globe. As for amenities like toothbrushes, we’re happy to provide them anytime upon request, and I see our team delivered these to you twice during your stay. Extra toiletries are only set up for our ALL elite member but always available on request, as well as iron and board. Normally, we're happy to provide proper plates and silverware completely free of charge - we just ask for a small deposit that's 100% refundable when items are returned, which was offered to you but declined. For outside food, we do ask for a minimal fee (just 5 THB per cutlery set and 10 THB per box) to help offset the cost of single-use items - you'd requested one box and three sets, which came to 25 THB total. Do you truly believe that charge a 5thb (0.15$) cutlery is a profit-driven initiative? We're especially sorry about the breakfast toast situation. While we had other bread options available, we completely understand your frustration when we temporarily ran out of white toast at 8:30 AM and took 20 minutes to replenish and at the time the team brought it to you, it was no longer desired. It is regrettable that this unfortunate situation infuriated you. This wasn't up to our usual standards, and we've already addressed it with the team. We were genuinely surprised by the ‘greenwashing’ accusation over something like 5 THB cutlery fees and amenities in room set up. Here's the real story: that tiny charge is just there to encourage people to avoid single-use plastics when they can - we actually provide proper reusable tableware for free (we just ask a small deposit you get back), and amenities are available on request. Truth is, if we were trying to make money from this, we’d go out of business waiting to profit from 5 THB cutlery and saved toothbrushes! :) What it's really about is trying to do the right thing environmentally, and we've got the results to prove it works. We get that not everyone will agree with the approach, but calling it 'greenwashing' feels pretty unfair when you see all the actual sustainability work we're doing behind the scenes Every initiative we’ve implemented (from reducing single-use plastics, switching from chemical to SAO cleaning technology, and so much more) is backed by real action, not just marketing (we actually don’t speak enough about all the positive action we do). But I also get that it’s our job to prove that to guests, not just say it—so if you’d ever like to discuss specifics, we’d be happy to share more in total transparency. What saddens us most is hearing you felt the service lacked warmth. That’s the opposite of what we strive for, and while we’ve had overwhelmingly positive feedback from other guests in general and again during your stay dates, it doesn’t change the fact that we missed the mark for you. For that, I’m truly sorry. For future visits to IMPACT, you might prefer Novotel Bangkok IMPACT, our upscale sister property offering more spacious accommodations and additional facilities. Sincerely, Benjamin Dupont – Hotel Manager
