Matteo at the front desk was super helpful. Although there was a long line at check in he handled everything with a friendly and professional demeanor. It made me know I was choosing the right hotel for my visit and I enjoyed my time at Ibis Styles. Hotels forget how important that first impression is. This hotel does it right.

This is a typical Ibis Styles hôtel which provides a predictably good standard of accommodation. The rooms are small, but adequate and the included breakfast is excellent. The best aspect of this hotel is its location between 2 tram lines which give easy access to the city centre of Vienna. There are several restaurants within walking distance and several bars. The rooms are well soundproofed.

Right from the start this hotel was amazing. The greetings from staff on arrival was very friendly and efficient. We took advantage of early check in, so within minutes we were in our room. And gosh, it was so modern and cheerful, with large windows and even a small balcony, that was a surprise. Road/train line view, but quiet with door closed. The bed and tv were extra large and the lights were cosy, but no plug socket near the mirror. Room spotless clean, felt new. The ambience of the hotel itself with its pretty lights was cheerful, colourful and felt safe at all times, inside and in the area outside. Free hot drinks from the vending machine. Trendy hotel bar and seating area and 3 bars nearby (but the Blaustern was expensive). Small supermarket, also bakery, one minute away, but road busy with cars. The staff were helpful with information telling us where to get tram tickets. The tram stop is opposite the hotel, and goes to the centre Schottentor, and tram 37 or 38 to get back. Takes about 10 minutes and quite often. We recommend this hotel 100%. So very pleased we chose it and fantastic value too.

The Ibis Styles Wien City Hotel is easily one of the best Ibis properties I’ve experienced. Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations for its category. The rooms were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering a level of comfort that truly stands out among Ibis hotels. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay from check-in to check-out. The location is also a major plus, with easy access to Vienna’s main attractions and public transportation. It’s a great base for exploring the city. Overall, this property is a step above the typical Ibis experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel! Impeccable service. We arrived late at night and were hungry. They opened the kitchen for us and cooked us snacks, pizza, sandwiches. Very nicely decorated where we went at Christmas. Perfect breakfast, had a 24-hour machine for coffee, tea, hot chocolate. We had a GREAT time!! Very nice rooms with amazing view!!
