I was there for 2 night, and the keycard needed to be reprogrammed every time i had opened the door.

Thank you for taking the time to rate your stay at ibis Styles Halle. Unfortunately we hadn't been notified of an update to our key card system which is why all room locks needed to be reprogrammed several times. We are sorry to hear that this incident seems to have severely compromised your experience at our hotel.

Directly across from a brothel

Bztraveler Business - Confirmed reviews ALL

This property sits directly across from a brothel and just off a major road and close to the train station which means you keep hearing the noise from the train station and the road. Also even when I asked to have the room cleaned and restocked on my second night, the only thing being done was a new towel placed in the bathroom. The breakfast was marginal at best.

A really pleasant surprise

We found ourselves stuck in Halle due to a train malfunction and quickly booked the ibis as we had two small kids in tow. It was a very easy, less than 10 minute walk to the train station. The front staff checked us in quickly and even gave the kids a free ice cream which put them in much better moods (sincere thanks for that small act of kindness on behalf of two very tired parents). The room was large which allowed for plenty of space to rest and relax. There wasn't much to do near the hotel, but we ordered in a delicious Greek meal and were thankful for the comfortable stay until we continued our travels the next day. Thank you for being a respite to weary travelers!
