Not impressed but helpful staff

It seems that little maintenance was made here since the place opened. There were stains on pretty much everything from linen to chairs all the way to the carpet and the towels smelled a bit moldy too. This hotel mostly caters at Indonesian tourists, which becomes clear at breakfast with little to no western choices. The staff was quite nice though, really trying their best to please us (offering donuts, cheese and sausages). Luckily, we don’t mind soto ayam for breakfast:) The pool is a nice addition for the kids too.

Good room and staff, terrible lift and busy pool

Nice room and staff however no smoking by the pool despite no designated smoking area also only 4 sunbeds and always unbearably busy, the lift also is ridiculously slow.

What a wonderful stay from the moment we arrived. Ayin and the team really made us feel welcomed. The family room was very clean and spacious with a queen bed and a set of cute bunks for the kids. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant was so relaxed. I loved the huge live garden wall and the popcorn was so delicious 😋 There is a very well equipped gym and gorgeous roof top pool. The best thing about this property is the amazing staff. They are so friendly and helpful and are so passionate about giving their guests a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Ibis Styles Malang. Thank you so much 💕

Amazing place with fabulous staff

I absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, e.g., they helped me booking bus tickets and printing them. Aside from tgat they always had a smile on their face. The room was very comfortable and provided aircon, fridge, kettle, complimentary water/coffee/tea, safe. A hairdryer could be borrowed from the reception desk. The views from my room on the 11th floor were amazing. I especially liked the interior design. The hotel’s location was quite central with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets nearby. I would come back in a heartbeat!
