Great to FINALLY get away. We were greeted with a smile, the service, the drinks & bar food was just lovely, so good to relax with others doing the same after a long day to sit & just relax. Our room looked over Albert Park, just lovely. Now for the buffet breakfast...it was a busy morning for them but the there was prenty of food and choices. Thank you will definatley return.

Actually we went here in August 2019. The view was beautiful, the staff were friendly, the room was so nice and clean, c/i and c/o was quick. At first they were confused about how to check us in without a credit card (as we have chosen not to own any) but the duty manager managed to solve the issue quickly which was appreciated.

Shocking experience, will NEVER return and do not recommend!
We had a three night stay in June 2022. From the minute we arrived the hotel was grubby and tired looking. Chips out of walls and pillars, thread bare carpet and old furnishings. When we arrived the room was a very warm 23 degrees, over night it plummeted to 18 degrees and we both froze. No extra blankets in the room. We had to complain 3 times to get them to look into the air temp and were told that it was centrally controlled. Walking to reception to complain the third time I passed a staff member talking to another saying they had received 4 complaints in the last hour. The air temp was fixed by the time we went to sleep on the second night but there was a hifi conference in the hotel and the base of the music kept us awake until very late and started again at 7am. We complained and they said no one else mentioned it to them. The car parking is also a trap. On their site it says you can pay to park there for $20 a day or use valet parking for $35 a day. This was not quite accurate, the $20 covers one exit per day, it is $20 per exit if you come and go as we did. So we were forced to go with the valet parking. Twice they forgot about us or didn’t communicate with each other and we stood for ages waiting before going in and asking again. Not good enough for this so called service. After returning from a funeral on the third evening, the reason for our trip, the music was still blaring. I called reception, who didn’t question my concern and offered to change our room ‘if we really couldn’t cope with it”. Despite being in our pj’s and in the middle of dinner, we had to pack up and move. The new room looked directly into other hotel rooms and had paper thin walls. There was a family next to us and they were trying to wrangle their children to put them to bed, this went on for an hour and a half. The shower I. Both room went hot and cold without warning. The only positive thing is that the staff were polite. The quality of this hotel was incredibly poor. Not only will we never stay here again, we will never stay in a Mercure hotel. I’d rather sleep in the hire car.

Pullman/Mercure Albert Park is a special gem in the Accor crown
Its sensational to be able to return to the Pullman/Mercure hotel Albert Park. Having stayed here quiet often before the pandemic, it was fantastic to be greeted by the same hard working team once again. As a Diamond member of Accor, I stay at a myriad of hotels and in my opinion, the sign of a class hotel, is they way you feel when present and beyond check out. The team here are always going out of there way, to ensure you feel embraced and valued. Creating both a pleasurable and memorable experience. It was awesome to run into Michael (GM) at the hotel for a chat. Michael is a very approachable and professional man, who runs the hotel ever so smoothly. A true credit to him over the many years. Its always a pleasure to deal with Emily (Rooms divisional manager), such a vibrant and positive lady, always up for a laugh and works ever so diligently in her role. Chief Concierge Rhett has been an exemplary member of the team here for over 10 years. He always delivers on anything you may require. A super genuine guy, that is a master of his craft. He truly cares for every guest he encounters and creates a memorable experience for all. Reiko, Jenny, and Jay are all so pleasant and extremely hard working in their roles across banquets/ bar/food and beverage. The Restaurant/Bar simply couldn't operate the way it does without their fervent work ethic. Phenomenal team. A special mention to Bronwyn and Miguel also for their amazing attitude and support. Its a tough time for the hospitality industry with staff shortages etc... It would be a disservice to the team, to not show my gratitude and highlight their fantastic qualities and service they all provide. Much appreciated. Apologies to anyone I may have missed, alongside all the new staff members. As they were also very attentive and provided great service across the past few stays. Thank you all for welcoming me back, with your warm and impeccable service. I look forward to many more fun times and memories shared with you all. Cheers Craig

Poor room condition

The rooms were terrible and dated. The carpets in our room looked like it was eaten by carpet bugs? I was expecting a bit more from a 4 star hotel. The stay was ok but it felt more like a motel, rather than a hotel. Definitely won’t be returning again!
