We have stayed at Pullman Bunker Bay many times. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The location and beautiful beach just a few minutes from the room make your stay exceptional.

We stayed for 3 nights with another couple to celebrate anniversaries. Have stayed several times before. Love the accommodation. Had dinner at restaurant 2 nights and the food was delicious. Breakfast really good selection. Lovely heated swimming pool.

For the price per night of this hotel, we were mostly disappointed with the quality. The staff themselves were friendly, however the issue is not with staff. $750 a night but no toothbrushes or toothpaste in the rooms. $30 something for pork belly and roast carrots which totalled two bites. Burrata that looked and tasted like it was from Woolworths up the road, and instead of fresh local cherry or heirloom tomatoes a sliced up Roma tomato was the choice. There's fine dining and then there's taking the piss. Room cleaning - made the bed, great. Threw out the shower cap that was drying, didn't replace. Sand and dirt all through the floors like shoes weren't removed to clean and the rooms are literally on the beach. Was vacuuming not a logical part of cleaning a room located on the beach? We took our shoes off and left them at the door. Seems your cleaning staff did not, leaving the floors dirtier than before. Lastly, we had a free nights stay which we used. Outrageous to me that you could not possibly include breakfast in that stay, considering the price per night of the paid nights... Disappointing probably sums up the cost vs value for this trip.

A lovely spot, lovely gardens and birds. Rooms are generous , clean and very comfortable. Room floors and furniture could do with a refresh. Lounge had lost its firmness. Bathrooms are divine. Customer service people were quite lovely. Especially Sam our buggy driver. What a treasure he is.

Breakfast experience here is a joke. Even worse than a 3* hotel. Following issues were noted: 1. My was seated in a small table that is originally designed for 2 people. Naturally, only 2 sets of cuttleries were given instead of 3, and the waiter didn't even bother giving us that extra set even though she saw us sitting. I requested for a slightly bigger table next to us, but the waiter said it's for bigger family. Yet, I saw a small family of 3 was able to sit there 30 minutes after we sat down. 2. Chicken sausage was the worst sausage I've had in my life. It was hard, and tasted stale, as if it was just taken out of freezer and wasn't even heated up properly. 3. Food and drinks are not filled up in a timely manner. I've seen so many juices stattion ran out and it was only 9am in the morning. The same applies for waffles and pancakes. 4.turns out you can order a specially made omellette, but of course, they don't tell us that you can request it. 5. Empty drinking cup is also not restocked on a timely manner. Honestly, for a 5* hotel, this whole experience is a joke. I'd rather just pay for the room alone for less and get my breakfast elsewhere.

Lovely room and experience, but we just found many amenities in the room not working. Phone to call reception/room service didn't work the whole stay, Wifi kept dropping out, spa was broken, etc. These were little things that were not necessary for a good time, but would have been nice to have.

It's especially hard to hear that you struggled to find a single positive, and that the food let you down as well. The villas were comfortable and housekeeping did an excellent job. However, a few things fell short of the Pullman standard. As a paying Accor Plus member, my Gold status wasn’t acknowledged at check-in, for the second time this year. This is the only Accor property where this consistently happens. At breakfast the team were short-staffed, but the bigger issue was a lack of awareness. When plates ran out, I had to find a staff member myself rather than someone noticing. At the bar, the staff member seemed put out by my order and focused on the screen rather than engaging. I was handed a sealed bottle of sparkling water with no opener, and a glass filled entirely with ice rather than a glass with some ice. With a background in customer experience, food and beverage, and mystery shopping, I’d say none of this is major on its own, but together it didn’t feel like a five-star Pullman stay. I hope this is useful for team training.

We were booked in for 7pm evening meal but on arrival told meal would be at 7.45 this did not suit then got room service which was on the cold side and very basic breakfast was a very good range of food but again was not warm staff very obliging

Hello, we have been visiting Pullman bunker bay for over 15 years and this visit it was obvious that the rooms and fixtures and fittings are in need of a revamp, the blinds were broken in the bathroom, the main room blind did not close fully and the fly screen door to the outside did not close properly, that is just the window furnishings , vaneer peeling off the table, silicone around the bath, I dont want to mention anymore other than the breakfast used to be wonderful but we found it very poor, Pullman bunker bay has a wonderful location and I think is maybe still benefiting from its name and reputation, investment required Regards John

After visiting Pullman Bunker Bay a few years ago, I was excited to return to show it off to visiting family from the UK. What first struck me was that the usual assistance to help you with your luggage down to the room wasn't immediately forthcoming, I had to push for it as we needed the help. The rooms are looking dated, the furniture needs updating as it's looking worn. My main memory of my last visit was how much I loved the breakfast....this time I was so disappointed. Service was slow, food was luke warm and pastries were stale. The second morning (a Tuesday) the sockets were tripping so the toasters weren't working. Finally they found a 2 piece toaster for the whole restaurant to use. I was told they had noone from maintenance available to fix it. This was a Tuesday at approximately 8am, a day and time a hotel would have available staff. Considering the hotel cost as much as the Indijup Spa per person, I felt it was a rip off. I would now only consider returning if I had heard that these issues had been addressed. I was definitely underwhelmed and disappointed.

Friends joined us from the USA. The villa was perfect for our needs. The beds were super comfy. The staff are excellent and made our stay. The beach is stunning. we sat and watched dolphins close to the sure and whales breached too. a wonderful stay.
