My original booking was canceled by the hotel (not sure why) and when O rebooked the rate went up over $90. The room was a little run down and wasn’t cleaned properly from previous guests- popcorn on the floor, dishes in the cupboards dirty. The spa wasn’t working and it took 4 requests to reception and 2 days before anyone looked at it and concluded it wouldn’t be fixed.

I had a look at the details of your original booking and it looks the system cancelled the reservation due to an issue with the payment. The second reservation was booked under a different room type, hence the difference in price. I would like to take this opportunity to offer you some sincere apologies for the cleanliness and issue with the spa in the villa. I believe my colleague adjusted the rate to reflect the issue raised with the spa bath. I will most certainly shared your feedback with Housekeeping as these are not the standards we are aiming for. Fantastic location , staff are fantastic . The bath tap water flow was very slow which was a bit disappointing as the bath itself was beautiful

Our room was not serviced on day 2, despite leaving the sign on the door at 8am and returning after 3. One of the staff that turned up to do an emergency room service (which we had to ask for twice) was surly about it. First 5 * resort I have seen which had no laundry service.
