Good hotel with comfortable rooms in a good location

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were treated very well from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable throughout our stay despite very inclement weather. The hotel is in a great location to explore Newcastle with a short walk to the beach

The room was pretty standard. Sadly all clocks were wrong (tv and bedside). Breakfast buffet lacked any imagination and when checking in wasn’t given the wifi code so when u get to the room and try to connect you have to ring down for it. Also no essentials stocked at reception eg toothpaste to buy etc. a beach side hotel with no theme of where you are. Also the Accor membership is t shown on the reg card. When I asked was told it doesn’t print for some reason. A wasted opportunity to be super welcoming and fun for my first stay in Newcastle.

Well located, room smelt musty

Hotel is well located and reception staff were good, but hotel needs a refresh. Room was clean, but smelt unpleasant and had a blocked sink which took forever to drain. Otherwise ok, but not what it used to be.
