We booked a room at The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney well in advance requesting a quiet room away from the lifts. The room was neither of these. We had multiple promises to correct things including a complimentary bottle of wine. Nothing materialise. Steep stairs to the pool and a lack of railings to get to the spa was another blow.

Very good value for money, nice spacious one bedrooms, they have everything, kitchen, dining and laundry. Fantastic spot at The Rocks, can walk everywhere.The lounge and bed were comfortable, great views. The pool great to have a swim. We will be back

Exceptional good value for its location. Perfect view of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. Clean. Amazing staff throughout. Perfect for one nights stay or a week. Close to everything that Sydney has to offer. It is certainly worth the little extra to have a suite overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Wow, what a view from our room on the 11th floor. Waking up for 5 mornings and just looking out in the Harbour Bridge, the quay side and the Opera House. Worth the entrance fee alone. Staff are excellent in being helpful and understanding. If I was being really critical it would be that the room decor needs updating i.e. paintwork and some electric sockets with USB/C connectors being first off the wish list. Then the carpet. It was worn and suffered from the sun getting through the huge windows looking out on the harbour so much so that the rubber underneath had deteriorated causing ripples in the flooring and some tearing which is a minor inconvenience and didn’t spoil the view but really should be sorted out by such a prestigious hotel if they want to class this as better than a hostel. Just a suggestion. Moving on, easy connections with the tram, bus, train and ferries, short walk into town but plenty of cabs/Uber. Underground car park valet parking 75$ AUS . Ouch! Apart from that we would return.

Excellent location with stunning views from the eleventh floor. Accommodation met our needs as did the very attentive staff who were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again providing that in the meantime attention is given to some of the decor (holes and cracks in bedroom walls) and the stained, rucked, torn carpet is replaced. This and the tired furniture really detracted from the overall experience and in places was a trip hazard.
