We always stay at this hotel on our visits to Istanbul. The rooms are the perfect size for a short stay. The hotel is close to many and various ferry terminals and it is right in the centre of Istanbul's nightlife. The new art museum is just a short walk away. The breakfast is probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in many a year and the view from the dining room is superb. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and the fish was so succulent and tasty. Our stay coincided with my birthday and the hotel left a lovely cake in our room on the day. You don't get that very often.

The rooms cleanliness is a serious disappointment. The carpet is old and stained as were the blankets. The bathroom and room were cleaned only superficially and amenities were not not replaced such as laundry bag or tissue. They have very limited staff for cleaning and service and often fail to respond unless you call the operator .

The hotel was great really clean and luxurious, i liked my room so much ( except for the view it was horrible) but the room was really comfy clean quiet and great place to take a rest. Also i liked the breakfast buffet i wish there were more Turkish food there however I really liked the breakfast and the view was insane great way to start your day, the only thing I didn’t like about the hotel is the front office staff they’re really act like they don’t have the time or energy for the guests and they refused to give us a late checkout at the time we requested

First time in Istanbul and this hotel was an excellent choice. Great rooms, quiet, clean and spacious. The breakfast in the roof top restaurant was excellent and the variety on offer was superb. We dined in the Murver Restaurant and would highly recommend as the service and quality of food was first class. Location is spot on to allow you to walk to everywhere (get your steps up) or to catch the tram which is pay wave , so super easy to use.

Great stay - scam taxi

The hotel is great, with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, a nice little sauna and steam room. The breakfast buffet is delicious and abundant! Unfortunately the end of my stay left a very bad taste - I asked them to call a taxi for me in order to avoid scams. They did call one, and the driver promptly proceeded to try to scam me at the end of the ride ("can't show you the fare because I already turned the meter off, but trust me this perfectly round number is what it said"), with the hotel reception offering little assistance when I called them for help. I understand if it's almost impossible to find an honest cab driver in the city, but I'd rather you tell me so than connect me with a scammer.
