A wonderful hotel with great service and amenities . Very busy as yiu would expect due to the location, but the cope with it very well. Restaurant and bar area very nice . The buffet food was excellently prepared and great selection. Rooms exacts yiu would want for such a hotel. It is a 5 minute short walk to the top of the hill to view the spectacular sunset or sunrise of ulluru.

The resort itself was nice. The rooms are clean and spacious and new bathrooms. Only bathroom complaint is drain position in relation to showerheads and gap in shower glass door resulting in bathroom floor ending up very wet and bathmat useless.

We stayed here on a 3 night luxury escapes deal and loved it. Spacious, clean, quiet room with everything you'd expect, including daily room service. Lovely, helpful staff. One of our tours was rescheduled, so we were back after pick up time for another event. Resort staff drove us to the event specially, so we didn't have to miss out. Buffet breakfast and dinner were both lovely, as was the dinner we had at the bar.

From the airport bus, then greeted with a cool drink and a warm cloth at reception and everything went smoothly from there. There was the option of whether we needed the room serviced every day or not. Considering how much red dust gets on everything, the room and balcony were clean and ready. Lovely staff, an artist in residence, had one dinner and one breakfast in the restaurant which were both buffets with plenty of tasty choices. It is expensive, you are 1000s of kms from anywhere, so staff needs accommodation, and everything is brought in and taken out. Try and get a package or check for deals. Highly recommend.

Double Charge and Subpar

Writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel during my honeymoon with my wife. We stayed for three nights from 21 May to 24 May Upon check-in, we provided a credit card as a guarantee for incidentals. However, on the check out we made it explicitly clear to the front desk manager, Diptansh Mahajan, that we would not be paying with the credit card due to the high foreign transaction fees. We informed him that we would be withdrawing cash to pay the bill and would return shortly to settle the bill. As agreed, we returned to the hotel with the cash and paid the full amount to another staff member. Approximately five minutes later, we received a notification from our credit card bank informing us that the same amount had been charged to our credit card. This resulted in a double charge. I immediately returned to the reception area and spoke to Diptansh again, expressing my disbelief and disappointment at this unacceptable situation. He offered an explanation that it must have been an accident and someone might have accidentally pressed the reservation button to charge the card. I am deeply troubled by this incident, as it reflects a lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer instructions. The double charge has caused unnecessary financial inconvenience and stress during our honeymoon. Furthermore, I must also bring to your attention the following issues that further marred our experience: * My wife fell ill after consuming a meal from the hotel restaurant. * The bed linens were not changed during our entire stay. * The overall room service and housekeeping standards were subpar. He said it was going to be refunded, but the taxes of a international credit card don't!
