Great self catering accomodation

My friend & I shared a one bedroomed apartment for two nights. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a self catering break. Due to our flight we arrived around 10.30am, we were aware check in wasn't until 3pm but were able to get the key at 1pm. Whilst we were waiting for our room we took the free shuttle bus to visit the camel farm. The apartments are very close to the well stocked supermarket and cafes and shops in the Town Square. Organised trips leave from the hotel next door which is only a two minute walk away. If I ever get the chance to visit Uluru again I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent. Spotless. Friendly. Gorgeous linen. Great location. Aircon. Safe in wardrobe. All soaps, shampoos etc thought of. Shower caps, tissues also. Iron ,ironing board, hair-dryer. All tip top electrical brands. Greenery everywhere. Next to Gallery. 3 mins walk to Desert Sands for most excursion pick ups. The only downside would be entry to room marked as 3pm. But ask the lovely reception staff to call you when your room becomes available, and they will. The IGA supermarket 5 mins walk away is amazingly well stocked . $2 for liter of water. Lots of fresh produce. Yes...more expensive than your local shops but look where you are!!! The shops around the IGA are great for a browse and gifts. The resort shuttle bus starts at 10.30am everyday and roams around the resort. Return is every 20mins. It was far too hot after 11am for me personally so the sunrise/sunset visits to ULURU were ideal. Go! The experience is overwhelming. Then back to the Emu Walk apartments for cool, comfortable rests.

Poor maintenance, room was not clean, very noisy aircon. Poor service, they charged us 50 $ because we checked out at 11:15. We didn’t know that check out supposed to be at 10:00. Value for money is very poor There is no one at the reception after 15:00. We stayed for 2 nights and there was no cleaning or towel change I can’t understand how come they are marked 4 stars

As part of our sustainability efforts, towels are not replaced if they are hung on towel racks, in line with the message displayed on the bathroom tent card. However, any late requests for servicing or additional towels are promptly attended to when guests notify our reception team. Additionally, we want to clarify that Desert Gardens reception is available 24/7 to assist with any inquiries or requests. We value your insights and will continue to work on improving our offerings. The place is not well maintained, the cleanliness is poor, the air conditioning system makes noise like a tractor and has no control over the power or temperature, the sofas are dirty and dusty. You should come with low expectations. Don't expect a reasonable ratio between the high price and value for money. The highlight was that they charged us an additional 50 Australian dollars because we were mistaken and thought that check-out was at 11, like in most hotels in the world, and here it is at 10. Be careful not to fall into the trap too.

Great place to stay while on our second visit to Uluṟu. Comfortable bed, lovely views from the balcony and a well stocked kitchen. Two decent size television screens with one in the living area as well as one in the bedroom. The bathroom is a little old and does need a bit of an upgrade but the water pressure was good.
